I’m so sad they no longer sell this product. I really feel this combined with zinc helped to clear my skin so much. The pills are small and can easily be swallowed.

I have just received delivery of this product. On peeling back the label to get more information, I found that it states that it is not for postmenopausal women. Does anyone know why? Is it Vitamin A per se or is it because of the dosage? The department of our company in charge has already been commissioned with the corresponding addition.The information you are referring to is based on general risk assessments by professional associations, as studies have found indications that a permanent intake of vitamin A above 1.5-2 mg per day could be associated with a reduction in bone density and a resulting increased risk of hip fractures (e.g. Melhus et al., 1998; Feskanich et al., 2002; Ribaya-Mercado et al., 2007). Current data concerning this matter is inconsistent and sometimes contradictory. Nevertheless, in view of these observations, professional associations have recommended that postmenopausal women should not consume more than 1.5 mg vitamin A per day to be on the safe side (SCF, 2002; EFSA, 2006).However, if not used permanently or long-term and/ or a doctor has recommended the use of a vitamin A supplement in this dosage and monitors the intake, the product can of course also be used by postmenopausal women.
