Wasn’t quite snug but with some TLC it can be used!
I bought this product and it came not fitting on a maverick 88, sliding up and down between the barrels. Taking some heat shrink and some super glue I have this thing on and snug as ever, it definitely needs rubber pads to help secure it. After the adjustment I’m completely satisfied with it, nothing will ever be perfect but you can make the best out of it!

Well made and strong
When I installed it on my maverick 88 it was a little loose so I added a piece of bicycle innertube and it worked fine. Well made and strong.

Does Not fit as Advertised
Description indicates this will fit the Mossberg 500. It does not. Would've been been nice though. Another addition to the trash can.

Works well for my 500
Fits just fine, some reviews rated it lower for fitment but I have never had an issue, held up to a sling and a camera for me on several outings.

Better than I expected, and works with more add ons
I bought a few other models before this. If you plan on doing any add ones, you will want this low profile design. It works with adding on a heat shield.

Only good if you are left handed or don't use a sling
It is not ambidextrous. You have to file down part of the mount if you are right handed and want to use the sling swivel. Or just return. Monstrum could easily modify the design to fix the issue

Does not fit Shockwave 590
Just a bit outside normal parameters to fit the shockwave 590. Will need some minor machining to get it to fit nicely.
