Delicious & authentic! Took me right back to being a little girl at my Japanese grandmother’s kitchen table. I cut the squares in half width wise because I wasn’t sure how they’d cook, sautéed them in a pan with butter, and ate them with nori & soy sauce. I live in an area where Asian food is very difficult to purchase. Great quality & value. I’m so grateful I can finally enjoy one of my favorites again!

Live in a place like me where you can't get real mochi at the non-existent local Japanese food store? This will suffice to curb your craving.

If you need mochi (new year's, etc.) and don't live where you can get fresh/frozen, these are the best choice. Puff up well in the broiler.

I adore kirimochi. The texture is fantastic. I bake for 9 minutes at 450 farenheight because I like it chewed more than crunchy. It takes a while to deliver sometimes but I’m so glad I can order on Amazon because I can’t find it anywhere else.
