This is a nicely made compact fridge freezer with a good solid cabinet. Ample room for a small larder fridge &/or as a second F/F for bits & bobs. It's whisper quiet when running. One thing to keep in mind is that the protusion of the top hinge EXTENDS the height of the appliance from the floor to the top of the hinge = 84.8cm (Courtesy of Specialist Electricals & Ignenix). Also the depth is nearer to 50cm than 49cm due to the convex curve of the doors.I tested the appliance using the same digital exterior/probe thermometer I use on our main Bosch F/F. Like the Bosch, the Igenix maintains a constant safe temperature inside the compartments once you have adjusted the thermostat against the ambient room temperature; between 0 -5 degrees Celcius for the Fridge & Minus 18 Dgerees Celsius or Colder for the Freezer.All in all, a nice purchase and quality appliance with which we are extremely satisfied!

Great value for money, I bought it for my man cave it’s lovely and quiet

I’ve recently bought a 47cm under-counter fridge freezer IG347FF. Actually I’m quite pleased. Especially with the speed they got it to me!BUT I find the racks on the doors of both the freezer and the fridge are not well-thought-out (certainly for the British market). I’m at a bit of a loss as to what one is supposed to stick in the door-rack on the freezer. And the fridge racks don’t seem to take into account the size of standard items like 4-pint bottles of milk (a mite too big for the bottle rack; they seem to risk breaking it). There’s nowhere to put eggs. The glass shelf might as well be a 2-3 inches deeper because the rail on which it rests is 2-3 inches deeper, and the difference in depth between the 2 shelves means almost nothing will stand to the front on the bottom shelf if it’s taller than the top shelf. Meanwhile other compartments on the door don’t seem ideal for anything. The shelf behind the salad box should be flush with it so items can easily be slid to the back. So my impression is that, design-wise (apart from the fact that it fits the space I have and sports a bigger freezer than such units usually have) this is a bit of a dog.I hate to say it, as a man, but it looks like a man designed it!Ultimately, of course, the freezer would be better at the bottom so users don’t have to get on their hands and knees to see into the top of their fridge. I realise the current configuration might have a lot to do with cold descending and heat rising. Yet it’s food for thought.

I like the fact the freezer is completely separate from the fridge. However I was disappointed about the size of the fridge freezer- it was much smaller than I expected

No dislikes beyond the absence of a real egg holder.More than adequate for the smaller family with enough room to keep produce fresh without lots of wasted freezer space.Highly recommended.

My fridge arrived about 40 minutes ago. I waited in for it, rearranging my various work and childcare commitments. The delivery driver was a nice guy and I helped him lift it up the stairwell to my premises.I have opened it and alas, damaged. A dent on the rear top corner, as experienced by other customers on here. So I sat down, huffed, puffed and pondered.... Do I have the physical and emotional energy to return this damaged fridge?On thinking about it I have finally determined that actually this is my hard-earned money and why the hell shouldn't I have an undamaged fridge. Why should I accept a damaged item just because the manufacturer has been remiss in designing appropriate packaging. Just a few more quid spent on thicker polystyrene and the wasted money and time could be avoided.Consider the sheer insanity and waste of it. The product has to be picked, loaded and transported.The customer expends their time in making arrangements to take delivery in a time-poor society. The product, made from finite resources and human capital is damaged and no longer worth the sum of its parts. The courier comes back to collect, expending his time and the fuel required to make the trip; the customer makes his arrangements again. All this waste of limited resources for the sake of some sensible packaging. It truly is insane.I don't accept the comments made by reviewers on receipt of a free unit that the packaging is perfectly fine, when it patently isn't. Let us also remember that when you haven't actually paid for something your interest in truthful commentary is seriously depleted - especially if you want the conveyor belt of freebies to keep rolling. So I object to these reviewers and I object to the waste engendered in my experience of this product. I sincerely hope my replacement arrives undamaged.
