This is exactly what a shrimp keeper needs! It’s flow rate is as advertised. The water had low a tds reading of near zero! Tested water and perfect! The use is simple and hooking up to tap is very nice. I’m loving this purchase. Thank you!

I ordered this RO unit for my saltwater tank so I can use it in my laundry room where I make my water. Easy assembly with great instructions, so that was awesome! Once it was hooked up, I ran it for about an hour before using any of the water to flush it out and get it going right. Once I started to collect the water, it’s been taking almost 1 hour to fill a 5 gal bucket. Now, I am sure that different water pressure gives different flow rates. But, I am in a normal house with pretty strong normal pressure (showers feel great and everything else runs fine), but I am not getting the advertised higher GPD they quoted. It will do since I have a smaller tank and don’t need a ton of water, but, I was a little disappointed in that.

I recently got into the saltwater tank hobby and needed something cheap due to everything else being so expensive. The reviews I read seemed like the product would work pretty well. I have quickly found over three months that you are better off, paying for the more expensive option when dealing with saltwater tanks. The attachments that came with this filter didn’t fit my sink, or any water hookup I had in my home, so I had to use my outdoor hose. There was more water leaking from the attachment they provided than what was getting produced from the filter. The little bit of water that was getting produced was good quality water I ultimately had to bite the bullet and buy a filter system from Bulk Reef Supply. I couldn’t afford the other filter right away, so I had to continue using this filter. I tried two different hoses and still had the same outcome. This thing was ultimately a giant waste of money. With the filter from BRS, there was absolutely no additional steps to take prior to setting up their filter. I 100% regret buying this product and wished I just bought a MUCH nicer filter from BRS. This was $60+ that ultimately went to the dumpster.

The filter does a great job but the instructions are very bad. The QR code sent me to a site that was blocked. I had to look at Youtube to find out how to put it together properly. Word of caution, if you are going to use this on plants you may want to get the model that does NOT have the Deionizing filter. I used the DI filter and my PH when nuts. I removed the DI filter and it worked for me. It is slow though, it makes about 3 to 4 gallons per hour in my basement utility sink.

I live full time in an rv and water can taste a little funky at different camps. With this filter I can take my water from 500 ppm down to 10 ppm. And eliminate the bad taste. I do not use the DI cartridge for drinking water but it's great for cleaning TV screens and glass. Since it's a spot free filter. I will be buying replacement when it time.

Came in before tracking data said it would. The product was packed as you would like protecting it from damage. I've yet to hook it up but intend to soon before my next water change. I had to go to home depot to make the sink adapter work but I already expected I would have to do this. I could have used the garden hose attachment but I liked where I have it mounted by the basement sink. So far so good 👍

GREAT GREAT tasting and great value. I love it, its just the pressure busted every pipe in every sink i tried it in, in my house. i tried both bathrooms and my kitchen and same thing happened in each location. the pressure is so great that it forces the pipes under my sink to leak. which i dont think is the fault of the filter, but still, i cant really use it.... unless i hire a plumber to re-inforce all my pipes
