The MACHO MAN SKINCARE EXFOLIATING ALL NATURAL- FACE/FULL-BODY PEELING GEL is nothing like the exfoliating products for women, that I have tried. This Macho Man gel literally peels away the top layer of dead skin off, within a few seconds of application. I do believe this is what an exfoliant is supposed to do. In women's skin care products, I've never seen anything close to this kind of peeling, after applying something calling itself an “exfoliant” to my skin. This seems to be the real deal.This is recommended no more than twice a week. The product page claims this is a unisex product. What this product wouldn't be good for, is anybody who has sensitive skin or any open sores. You apply it after thoroughly washing and drying your face. They claim it can remove ground in makeup or other stubborn skin care products, that can remain, even after washing. I believe it.The other, and most convenient way to use this product, is to use it on your body. You apply it where you want a new layer of skin, and get in the shower and wash it off. It couldn't be easier.This exfoliant seems like the quickest easiest way to remove a layer of dead skin, and expose the new baby skin underneath, aside from a visit to an esthetician or dermatologist. It's certainly a lot less expensive.There are a lot of warnings on the product insert about the potential hazard and side effects that can occur as a result of using this exfoliant. Read all the literature, do a test patch first, Know your skin. Sensitive skin is bound to have a bad reaction to this.This is a unique skin care product, at least in my experience. I think it's definitely worth giving a try. We didn't experience any adverse effects. I like it, and my husband likes it even more. This is the first men's skin care product I've ever ordered for him, is that I didn't have to remind or encourage him to use.

The effectiveness of this exfoliating gel is quite good. You will be left with very soft and extra clean skin. Amazingly soft and smooth. However, to get there, you have to go through the process of using this stuff. That's the part that I do not like. It feels fine on the face and did not cause me any sort of irritation at all, short of the following aspects. Yes, this is a gel. Sort of thick, but easy enough to massage around the face, though you will need to continue to add more as you move around the face. Okay, so far, so good. But as I was continued on, I noticed how sticky and tacky my fingers felt. Then I tried to wash this stuff off of my fingers so I could touch things while I gave this a few minutes to do its stuff on my face. That took forever. It wouldn't fully wash off. Meanwhile, it felt really sticky and tacky, so I added soap to help encourage the removal of this from my fingers. Helped a little, but there was still sticky gel all over them. It was driving me nuts. Finally, it was time to remove this from my face. That wasn't easy either. Fortunately, I had a facial sponge ready which is the best thing to use to help with washing this off of your face. Will take several passes to do so. Again, I still had to deal with sticky fingers.Bottom line, your face will be extra clean and healthy after use and feel wonderfully soft and smooth. But you'll need to have to put up the annoying mess you have to put up with while using this gel.

There is relatively no scent to this product other than the slight hint of alcohol like a rubbing alcohol? Unusual for a beauty product.The product is very thin/runny. Makes it almost difficult to use as it runs out of your hand before you can start apply it.There is NO lather to the product. Took a lot of product and even then wasn't sure if I was getting clean?I have not noticed any changes in my husbands skin after using. However, the product has not caused any irritations or sensitivities. It does not dry his skin out like other facial products may do.There are no exfoliating beads contained in the product. That struck me as unusual. There’s a very very slight texture to the product but cannot identify what it is. Doesn’t provide any exfoliant thought. Just feels like there is something in the gel?For these reasons and the high cost I think I will return to having him use his previous skin care products.

This product claims some "magic" exfoliating properties, but it's trying to fool you.As you apply it, you will notice a strong acrylic smell - indeed, acrylates are listed in the ingredients. These acrylates are coagulating when exposed to air, and when you rub the product into your skin, the stuff that falls off is not your "dead skin", it's the acrylates themselves.Looks read though. Not no, a hard pass for me.

Not my favorite cleanser. The smell is sorta chemical, and when rubbing on the face in the shower it kind of balls up on your face.
