We love it here. We like to keep on the fan all night. We like a nice amount of noise, not too loud, not too quiet. Just enough to drown out the outside noises but not so much that you notice it. Its really strong on high and nice on low.

My roommates hate the fan because its loud but I love it. Its a BIG fan. It sends wind FAST around the room. DUH it's not going to be silent -.- in my opinion, its as loud as you would expect a big metal fan to be. 90% of the time i use it on the low level. (it has Low, Med, and High) and that gets the job done. I have had it for over a year and so far i love it. 10/10 would buy it again. Heavy, sturdy, strong, reliable so far :) if you are on the fence for buying this fan.... BUY it. You should be as pleased as I am.

**AVOID THE STANDING FANS, VERY POOR QUALITY/PACKAGING**I purchased this 18 inch Standing Fan in Feb 2023 as it seemed to be a good deal.Upon arrival from UPS, the box was so damaged that rod that connects the base to the stand fell out of the box in shipping. In addition, the base itself was clearly used, and smelled like it had been in water for some time. And the fan itself had a noticeable rattle.I requested a replacement from Amazon, which was then delivered by Amazon a few days later in an even worse condition than the first box. This second fan had a cleaner base, but the underside of the base had chunks falling off as I took it out of the box.And here I am just a few months later regretting that I didn't just get a refund. As of mid-late May 2023, the second fan is starting to rattle and make unpleasant sounds at all speeds.While the product has many reviews, you'll notice the majority are for the floor version of these fans. If you look at the specific reviews for the standing version of these fans, you'll see these complaints are rather common.Don't make the same mistake I did, just spend a bit more and get something from a different brand.

I will start by saying the fan has great airflow at all three levels and is very light weight so you can carry it easily. The sound is like a typical fan and I'm totally fine with that. Besides, I love the sound of fans. The assembly instructions seems pretty straight forward. You only need a Phillips screwdriver to secure the base. Be mindful when you are ready to secure the top (the fan/motor assembly) to the base/stand, the knob in the lower back of the controller area is only held in place by a small metal nut hidden inside. If you remove the knob, the nut will fall out. Without the nut, you will not be able to secure the top to the base/stand. The build seems pretty sturdy despite the majority of the parts being made of plastic. For the price, it does what it's suppose to do. I'm very happy with it so far but we'll see how long it lasts...

This is a high velocity fan so yes it will have a high noise level. The construction is heavy duty and a very nice floor base compared to other brands I have. This fan will definitely move the air!!! You will not be disappointed if you need a high velocity fan.

It was good and powerful. However it was bought in January 22, 2025 and it is now March 4th, 2025 and have to buy another one because it stopped working. Hopefully I can put a warranty to the next one.
