Wedding present. The chime sounds electronic is the only thing I didn't like. I have another battery Howard Miller and the chimes sound much better.

Just received my clock and it is a beautiful clock. However, this clock definitely DOES NOT have a volume control button. The description clearly states you are able to adjust the volume but it does not have this feature. I did read the reviews prior to purchasing and some said it did and others said it didn't. Since it was mentioned in the past I figured the seller would amend the description to state only true features.But alas........seller doesn't give a hoot whether the description is accurate or not. Just interested in selling them. Very disappointed.

This is a very nice clock, as are most Howard Miller clocks. It is well made and looks great. Unfortunately, in the sleep mode, which turns the chimes off overnight, there is no way to adjust the shut off or wake up times. So the chimes will ring at 6:00 AM when it wakes up. I contacted Howard Miller and while they were prompt in their reply, they said all their clocks with this feature operate the same hours, with no way to adjust them. I wish they would change this, as not everyone wakes up by 6 AM.

I used this clock for a project to make a tall clock and it worked perfectly

I ran this clock for 24 hrs and never could get the chime to sync with the time. The biggest negative is the chime sounds are very fake and tinny. Oh, and if you have large hands, have fun getting the batteries out. Would I buy again? No
