This works really well to prevent static build-up when using an under-desk treadmill.

With the anti static strap in place the voltage between me and the case of the machine is zero. Remove the strap's connection and a voltage is clearly present. So it seems to work and is a cheap and effective way to protect your electronics from getting damaged - happy days. And you get three of them.

These are solid wrist straps at the correct price point.Multiple colours are handy for more than one person working at a time, and the coiled wire works well for a range of movement without excess wire around the place, it's neither too loose or too taught to cause trouble.I was pretty impressed with the quality, and the cleaning cloth is a nice touch. These also come in a hangable bag, great for storage - had I not broken it in opening (quite easily!), however it was an unexpected bonus so I didn't mind.

These are great, do the job that they were intended for.

Nothing of note really, clips are strong and the wrist strap is a good size. No issues

The product works fine. I measured the resistance and it is 1Mohm from the clip to the strap. You can pretty much ignore the reviews saying there's no continuity. The straps are designed with a resistive cable, a low resistance cable is not a good idea for this purpose. The user needs to be at a similar potential to the workpiece and must not rapidly discharge any static build-up. These are great for that purpose.

After receiving this item I immediately tested the continuity on all three. There was none. I decided to strip one of the connectors down to the bare wires. The problem was at the snap connector to the wrist band, There is a problem with the little resistor moulded into the snap connector. When I bypassed the resistor it worked.It makes me wonder how many people are using this product and think it's working when it's not. I read through some older reviews of this product and at least one person had the same problems and did the same as me, and that review was from about 6 years ago. So they know there's a problem but clearly rely on peoples inability to test it, and let them think its working, when it isn't.Please only buy items like this if you can get it tested, otherwise it's a waste of money.

Good price, good quality. Not as uncomfortable to wear as I thought it would. Doesn't get in the way. Recommended

These wrist straps appear to be well made and suited for their intended purpose. The series resistance is 1 megohm which permits dissipation of static charges without posing a shock or electrocution hazard. The contact area is the metal plate which must remain in contact with the skin to be effective. The elastic band itself is nonconductive.

Auch nach längerem tragen werden die Armbänder nicht unangenehm auf der Haut. Allerdings dürfte das Kabel für manche Anwendungen etwas länger sein, aber das kann man ja auch mit etwas Geschick noch selbst verlängern.Für den Preis von der Qualität und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis perfekt.

producto de buena calidad, me hubiera gustado que el extremo se pudiera conectar directamente a la tierra del enchufe, pero con un cable lo resolví.Actualización: acabo de probar los 3 con un multímetro y ninguno de ellos tienen continuidad en los dos extremos del cable, lamentablemente ya pasó el tiempo para devolverlos, son completamente inútiles.Actualicación 2: me retracto, esperaba que la resistencia fuera de 0 ohmios, pero ya encontré que no debe ser así, ya que es para proteger al usuario, por lo tanto reitero que sí es un producto de buena calidad.
