I used to have to call the gate service company whenever a spring broke on one of our 11 overhead gates. Now I just change it myself in 10 minutes. Just raise the gate and put on a pair of heavy work gloves. Remove the pins and switch with a new spring. Replace the pins and you’re back in business for a fraction of the price!

Strong with a good range of motion
I used these to replace two 50 year old garage door springs on our 7 x 16 steel one piece tilt up garage door. I had to make up some special parts to secure them well, but once this was done, they have worked very well and saved me the $5000 quoted for a new garage door. They handle this door well, and it weighs about 150 lbs.
