Better than other calming collars I've tried
I have five cats, and I've tried calming collars in the past with mixed success. I didn't know what to expect with these, but so far, I'm pleasantly surprised.Immediately I noticed that they have a nice smell; it's a gentle lavender scent instead of the harsh medicinal smell I've noticed from other collars. They're also not powdery or messy like some brands I've tried. The collars themselves are soft and rubbery, they seem to have a little stretch which I assume would be good if the cat got stuck somehow. There's no obvious break-away mechanism, but my cats are all indoor cats so I've never had a problem. The collars are extremely long and should fit any cat, even if you own a Maine Coon. I would recommend cutting to size before putting it on, or it will take a very long time to get it through the buckle. The cats seem to like them better than previous calming collars, and I found them easier to put on. Cats usually hate being collared, so anything that makes the process less stressful for the cat is good in my book. The cats have been calm, especially my anxious grey, so I'm going to guess they work.My only real complaint is that the packaging doesn't say what the ingredients are other than "pheromones" and that the ingredients are natural. It would be nice to have a specific list as many natural ingredients can be harmful to pets.Overall, I'm happy with these collars and I recommend them.

Great calming gadget
I like the ability to size the product to fit my kitten. This was utilized when I had to trim his nails last night. It took approximately two hours for him to get calmed down completely. I'm definitely reordering for these trimming times. A must have for fur babies.

Give it time
I have had this on my dog for about a week. I don't see a difference in his behavior. I will still use this for another week because things take time. The collar I can say does smell good.

Nice scent and they work!
This is an updated review. Originally I thought they didn't work. It turns out you have to give it a week or so to work. I had gotten the collar for my rescue pup who barks at other dogs when they walk past our house, at the mailman/delivery person, and sometimes at our neighbor's very barky dog. 4th of July was coming up so I put the collar on her a day before, and on the day of when the fireworks started going off, she went bezerk. So I thought the collar didn't work. Well, it's been over a week and over the course of the week, she seemed to be calmer, which I took for being lazier and thought it was because she was still scared and traumatized from the fireworks and the heat (heat wave going on). But with each walk, each encounter with other dogs, she is DEFINITELY calmer. We'd be ready for her to bark, which is her normal reaction, and we would change directions or take another route if we saw a dog up ahead. But this morning, we walked by 5 dogs and she did not bark. Seriously it was a miracle. And when we had Amazon deliveries this week, she didn't bark at the front door. It has to be the collar. Granted we can take it off to see if she behaves differently, but no way. We are keeping it on. Keeping it on is great for her and us! it is a lifesaver! Thank you, thank you!

Cat calming collars
This comes with a pack of four disposable calming collars. You put them on your cat and leave them on for about a month. They are lightly scented of lavender but it's not overwhelming and it hasn't caused any irritation on my cat. These do help to take the edge off some of my cat's anxiety. She has stopped over grooming and is spending more time in the main areas of the house. With this particular cat, I am using them until she comes out of her shell and becomes comfortable with her new home. I'm not sure how they would work for more long-term anxiety relief.

It's a no
I put this on my cat and he went crazy trying to get it off. The smell of it was more than he could handle. Returned.

I'm very skeptical. Did it work? yes. Do I think it is what it says it is? no.
These are suuuper long, long enough you could probably put them on a human (not that I'd recommend it). These smell very strongly of lavender despite claiming to contain only pheromones. They're individually wrapped to preserve freshness and are pretty much what I expected except smellier.I got these to see if they'd help him get used to riding in the car and wanted to test them out before trying anything serious where I couldn't tell if he was acting normal or not. On this particular day my cat was being super active, mischievous, and unruly (he's very mouthy) and I remembered that I had these and hadn't tried them yet so I cut an inch off the end of one (the smell from the entire collar was overwhelming) and clipped it to my cat's regular collar with a binder clip. He settled down for a nap immediately after and slept all afternoon and early evening until I felt guilty for drugging him and took it off. It could've been that he would've napped all day anyways, but I tried taking it off for a bit and he got up again and was in a bad mood again, and then I put it back on and he mellowed out again. All in all I think it works, but I think it's lavender.
