AMAZING
I have had this computer for well over a year now and it just holds so much storage. Amazing value for the price. The size is pretty big but I mean it’s a tower computer so ya know. Doesn’t make any noises and over all very functional, not slow. And has lots of ports so compatible to with lots of monitors.

Terrible packaging damaged the computer
I had high hopes for this computer as I’ve been using a Dell Optiplex 7010 SFF running Windows 7 for about 8 years. The box it was shipped in was almost busted open and the only packing material was a pitiful bubble wrap sleeve around the computer. The tab that slides to open the computer case was broken off and rolling around in the box. The power cord and WiFi adapter were also just rolling around in the box. The are numerous scrapes and scuffs on the computer. And two of the rubber feet on the bottom of the computer were half on half off of the computer. The tab that was broken off is blue but had black spray residue like they had spray painted the computer case. The blank covers for the PCI slots had also come loose and were easily bendable.I hooked it up and turned it on and it went to a screen telling me “no boot device found. Press any key to reboot the machine.” I pressed a key multiple times just to get taken back to the same screen again. I could also hear something rolling around inside the computer. Who knows what that was?? Couldn’t open the case because the tab to do it is broken. It only came with a power cord and a no-name usb wifi adapter. Nothing else. No keyboard or mouse.I chatted with Amazon to get a refund and dropped it off at the UPS Store. That’s bad dropping it off for return on the same day it was delivered. The description states “this product is in excellent condition. The screen and body show no signs of cosmetic damage from 12 inches away.” Even without the shipping damage due to poor packaging, I find that hard to believe.

Almost perfect
This has been a challenge but should have done homework before buying. There is no VGA adapter on the PC. I had to take the box to the TV and use HDMI connect to do setup and then add my spare video card. The doc says it supports 2 HDD but when I went in to add my spare 2TB 3 1/2 in drive, it wouldn't fit. The 1 TB drive in this is a 2 1/2 (laptop?) drive in the caddy. I assume that is why there isn't enough room for the second drive. I guess I will need to use an external drive for my extra stuff. The other challenge was probably not the sellers fault. the box had been opened before I got it and the keyboard, mouse and paperwork were missing. Fortunately I have been dealing with PCs since 1986 and have several stuck up on a closet shelf for backup.Other than those challenges the unit seems to perform well and solves a few problems but without a second HDD I will stick to my Win7 PC as my primary workstation.

Great while it lasted
The 7040 is a great machine. Unfortunately, the one I received died, no power to the motherboard. Not a problem the seller could have predicted. Amazon refunded the price as soon as it was returned and, no doubt, this will be an easy power supply fix for the seller, so whoever ends up with it next will benefit from the problem I had.

It lasted 8 months
The hard drive broke so I can’t reset to fix the issue.

Nice computer as long as you understand it's limitations. Poorly packaged.
I received this computer in a flimsy box with a large hole in it. I sent the computer back. I will not buy another one.

Not worth it
Imma start it off somewhat professional. The item isn’t as good as it seems. I can tell right out the box it was used HEAVILY, I downloaded games ( need your own GPU) I did that, upgraded the Power supply and I loaded any game. The slightest game would not work. I don’t know what it is, but nothing would work. It would simply load the game then just hard reset and just give up. Needs to be a better a company and show the true identity of how horrible there devices are. But one thing I can say, it does have good cable management on the inside. But overall a 1 out of 5 for me.

Nice Machine but Doesn't Look Like New
I purchased because the description states: "Renewed products work and look like new. " This came packaged nicely (albeit with the typical almost unusable keyboard) and at a good price but the front face plate was broken and scratched. It would not seat properly and interfered with the power button. Never should have been sent. Customer service was prompt and sent out a replacement face plate, but even though I had issues with functionality AND cosmetics the replacement face plate isn't perfect. It's not bad, not enough to return, but it isn't "like new." The box also had a slight dent. I'd rate this as a Grade A-/Grade B+ refurb with the replaced face plate. The rest of the unit did look "like new" and it operates fine.
