PylePro PMKS8 Desk Top Microphone Stand, Black

Perfect if you're looking for a table top mic stand. I was concerned it would be too flimsy or would fall over, but it's in fact surprisingly heavy and very sturdy. Really easy to assemble and the perfect height for use sitting down. My only area for improvement is the fact that the metal base isn't completely smooth and could potentially scratch the desk surface, but put it on a mat and problem solved!

I'm using it as a desktop mic stand and for that it works great, very strong and nimble. I also used it as a cab mic and a kick mic stand and for those purposes it works better than probably a regular boom stand would. It could maybe do with being a bit longer in certain scenarios, but generally speaking, its awesome!

If you need a desk mic with lots of adjustment this is not for you and I would recommend a boom style stand, however if you simply require a set and forget stand for a mic this is perfect, it is incredibly solid with a metal weighted base and an articulating arm with limited range but that once adjusted is rock solid even with a heavy condenser mic on

Handy & solid

Sturdy and nicely weighted at the bottom but doesn’t have quite the range of motion I was hoping for.

This microphone stand was much better than I anticipated because it was priced so low. It is very sturdy and heavy and sits firmly on your desk. I use it to hold an SM57 microphone. I believe that it will last a very long time.

Works good, Hugh quality material and the gooseneck works well, sturdy.

Solid heavy base, thick goodeneck. Easily holds a kilo.

El stand pesa un kilo, de construcción sólida, con una base de hierro colado pintado de color negro que dificilmente se moverá en tu escritorio. Las protecciones de goma en la base son muy pequeñas, así que se debe tener cuidado al colocarlo para no raspar la superficie del escritorio. El brazo es corto, de exactamente 20 cms de longitud, nada que ver con lo que aparece en la foto de muestra. Sin embargo, es muy estable precisamente por ello. El grip para el microfono es muy suave, pero funciona con el microfono con el que el stand va a utilizarse. En caso de que decida cambiar el grip, no creo encontrar dificultades porque es universal. Ahora, con respecto al precio. Compré este producto en una oferta a $250.00. Por ese precio, es una ganga, y no tengo queja alguna, dado que es de mejor construcción que otros stands de tripie que pensaba comprar. Pero por el precio sugerido completo de $720.00, me pareceria excesivo.

Great solid stand, solid metal so nice and heavy thus stable. Good quality, and would recommend as value for money. I have a nice Mic which is a bit heavy and it works perfect.
