nice addition to home health monitoring
The media could not be loaded. I love home health equipment for use to monitor in a proactive manner. Much like having a blood pressure monitor, or a weight scale, having an oximeter is very useful. Get to know your baseline, and then if an illness or something seems off, any different information can be incredibly helpful for sharing with medical professionals.I also use fitness trackers with similar features, but wanted a more robust product for measuring anytime rsather than only overnight. It has bluetooth capability. One review said it didnt. It does. You have to pair with with your phone and then use through an app (healthtree) you have to install. YOU DONT HAVE TO install app or connect phone to use this. This feature is only if you want to keep a data record. Also helpful if you have multiple users that are also wanting to do same thing.Out of box is pretty easy to set up. You can use the stand for charging or just plug cable directly into phone. You will have to supply your own wall adaptor. To use the charging base, take the tiny USB head (not attached to a cord) and plug it into the bottom of oximeter. The portion that kind of sticks out is magnetized so when you place it on base it creates a connection for charging. One of the longer videos showed the guy sticking this connector down in the base then forcing the device down on top. Then when he took it off base, the connector was clearly shown still attached to the device. The connector is meant to live in the device, not the base.Connect the finger cord. I think it is long enough for most applications. Perhaps a longer cord would be useful, I am not sure. Maybe if I were trying to sleep with it. Everyone will have their preferences regarding that. I am good with what we've got here for my needs. There is also a silicone protective cover. This adds really good grip. From there, the controls are (to me) user intuitive. There is the typical on/off, up/down, then there are menus. Really, just play around with it. I have not had a desire to keep track of my readings at this time. I just wanted something that was going to measure my oxygen at any time I wish to check it. I rarely get sick, but have been sick 2x in 2024, pretty much back-to-back as it is only March. It was mostly in my lungs, which made me concerned. THEN I have an elderly friend who is always on oxygen, and she uses the battery operated finger ones. I tried it but it didnt seem consistent. I then started researching what styles of oximeters are best, and kept coming across this style where you can do continuous readings, keep track, and that there are alarms and such. I figured I would spring for a fancier model. If I like it, I may have my friend try it.I'm not using the alarms, but it can be greatly helpful for those that have a medical condition where it is vital to keep track of levels. Smart feature.Volume is good. I have mine turned down or off.Overall the display is easy to read. I am sure that will vary from person to person.Im going with 5 stars. It meets or exceeds my expectations, and while I dont rate on price, I found this to be reasonable for the style of monitor it is. WIthin range of others of similar style. Will update if need be.

A Must have for Parents
The media could not be loaded. As a parent of a 9-month-old son, I can attest that this handheld pulse oximeter has been a valuable addition to our baby care essentials. It’s a small, portable device that provides accurate and fast measurements of oxygen saturation and heart rate.Accurate and Fast Measurements:The device is easy to use and provides accurate readings within 3-5 seconds. The spo2 levels are accurate to 1% between 70-100% saturation levels, and the pulse rate is accurate to 1 bpm.Alarm Mode:The alarm mode is a great feature that alerts me if my baby’s spo2 value falls below 90 or if the heart rate drops below 50. The audible alarm and flashing numerical value on the display give me peace of mind, knowing that I’ll be notified if anything is amiss.Multi-User Management:The device allows for up to 10 users to store their oxygen readings, making it convenient for tracking my baby’s progress over time. Each user can record up to 300 sets of data, including date and time stamps.Bluetooth Functionality:The device comes with Bluetooth functionality, which allows me to view real-time data, graphic reports, and trends of blood oxygen saturation and heart rate on my phone. The device also automatically switches off when a finger is removed from the unit for more than 10 seconds, which helps conserve battery life.Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this handheld pulse oximeter. It’s a reliable and accurate device that provides me with valuable insights into my baby’s health. The accuracy and speed of the readings, combined with the alarm mode and Bluetooth functionality, make it a valuable tool for any parent.

Excellent until it wasn't
It took me a while to write this review. We used this for hospice. It was an amazing product up until it failed at a critical time. It allows you to program alert ranges with alarms. It is easy to read and understand. It has great accuracy (until it doesn't). The finger clip stayed on comfortably throughout the night. The issue was when he started dying it spiked up and the machine was not showing what his body was showing. I grabbed a second, portable pulse ox and applied it to another finger. The readings were different. You could visibly see his lips turning blue, but this machine was reading a good pulse and pulse ox. It took away the focus of his last moments because I was trying to reconcile his appearance with what the machine was saying. The nurse commented that she was very frustrated that this machine was giving false information which made it appear he was improving when he was actually dying. The other pulse ox machine did read his decline accurately.I am grateful for what this machine offered while it was working properly. It gave a great peace of mind and helped me sleep knowing the alarm would sound if anything happened. Unfortunately, the failure at the end took away from my final moments with my husband.

A Must-Have for Every Family - Reliable and Easy to Use!
First off, the design is incredibly user-friendly. It's lightweight and portable, making it easy to use on both my infant and myself. I love that it fits comfortably on tiny fingers, so my baby doesn't even seem to notice it while I check their oxygen levels. The display is clear and easy to read, with bright numbers that are visible even in low light, which is a big plus for those late-night checks. The rechargeable feature is fantastic! I never have to worry about running out of batteries, and the battery life is impressive, allowing me to use it continuously during those overnight monitoring sessions. The alarm feature is also a lifesaver—it alerts me if the oxygen levels drop, giving me peace of mind while my little one sleeps.
