Works as intended!
GFCI feature seems to work as advertised. Tripped correctly both with the built in button as well as an external GFCI tester. Has a solid thunk feeling when tripped and reset, compared to the light click of a normal GFCI outlet. Haven't noticed any quality issues with it so far, seems well built.

Only one surprise
This is the second one of these I have purchased, this time for a friend's boat. Mine has worked flawlessly for about 3 years on my boat. I was surprised to see "do not use in a wet location" on the packaging label since it is advertised as for indoor and outdoor use. It is working well. I tested the GFCI and it tripped and reset as it should.

Sleep good at night. This thing is safety.
We literally almost had two separate fires using a space heater in the living room. You need to have this device if you were going to run a space heater. Well worth the Peace of Mind and if the power brownouts or surges it trips this device. It definitely works and is worth the money

Helpful product
Found this item tone very helpful with our pool pump. I use it not only as a GFCI outlet but also an on/off switch for the pump. I’ve used it for one season and so far it works as it should.
