Excellent choice for 9700x
Ordered this for my new 9700x, and I'm glad I did! I figured a budget aio would be sufficient given the energy efficiency of the new AMD CPUs. I've had this going in my build for about 2 days now, and have maintained much lower CPU temps than I did with my old cooler on my 9700k.Build quality seems great for the price. The fans on the radiator have male and female connectors for the rgb connections, which makes it even easier to wire up.The hoses are flexible enough to make most mounting orientations work. The instructions aren't very descriptive, but the process of installing an aio isnt very complex. As an added bonus, my GPU isnt getting as hot now either, though thats likely more due to the CPU power draw than anything.

Perfect for my build!
Perfect for my build. I love the aesthetics and you can change the LED colors because they're addressable. Cools my CPU really well. It's easy to clean, just use a blower or compressed air and all the dust is gone.

Thermalright Prism 240
Needed a cooler for an i7-12700 LGA 1700 socket and bought this one. I have an 8 year old case and after visually checking it I though it would work. Sure enough, cooler was an easy install. Been using this for a few weeks now and I am very impressed with its ability to cool the cpu. Today I am running at 20 degrees celcius and there is no fan noise. I run a 4070ti with dual 4k monitors, but fans are keep temps very low. The cons, the documentation is terrible, so watch a video if you can find one. The paste that it came with would not stick to the cpu, luckily I had some Artic Cooler lying around. The brackets that hold the main cables are plastic and can snap really easy. I thought I connected the RGB lights the right way but only one lights up. However I did not buy it for RGB, my cpu box is on the floor and lighting is not visible anyway. Edited: Upgraded this to 4 stars because it is a great cooler for the price, under $50.

Simple and satisfying
Ordered this cooler based on the reviews expressing how it has been impressive for the price and how the AIO keeps the temps cool without needing to ramp the fans. I swapped this into my son's PC when I upgraded his CPU to a R7 3700X. The stock cooler on his R5 3600 and ramping the 2070 super was seeing temps of 75-80C (CPU temp). After upgrading to this AIO and adding an additional fan for the case, his temps are not even trying to climb above 55C and we were able to adjust his GPU fan curve down as it was also staying much cooler. The GPU used to see temps in the 80C range as well but now even with a less aggressive curve, barely touches 65C. In all, if this cooler holds, it is definitely worth the cheaper cost. 3 of my PCs are running the Cooler Master ML240 coolers which have been ok but this cooler and the simplicity has made me regret not trying to K.I.S.S. related to budget level items that out-perform expectations. For those that are unsure - 40,000 hours for failure is roughly 4.25 years if running 24/7 - so the expectancy seems decent based on that rating. If this review is unchanged, the AIO is still kicking and exceeding expectations.

Great value!!!
I was received it 10/6/24 and quickly completed the installation. I played Valorant 3 hrs and noticed a significant improvement compared to my previous MSI, which quit after just three years. The CPU core stayed below 60°C, which was impressive. I’m very pleased with the results, especially considering it’s 50% cheaper.

Great!
Works perfectly! Keeps my 9800x3d cool! The faceplate can be rotated, and the color can be controlled with an rgb header.

Even the 2nd One was DOA
It was dead out of the box. I got another one, that one was alive but when I connected it to my computer, it drew soooo much power, it messed up my power supply.Took it off, new power supply, and bought a different brand water cooler. Hooked the new one up and my computer works great. Decided to hook this thing up again (1500watt PSU) and it shut down the power supply.I threw the pump on the test bench; 32 volts and 320 watts this thing is drawing. What? Why? And how?Just stay away, you know something is up if you see a water cooler for less than $70 nowadays.I refunded both, hopefully they don't try to fight me on it, I have the assistance of 2 known YT pros, and plenty of documentation.
