The Flanagan bird pole is an excellent product, combining practicality and durability. Assembly is straightforward, and the adjustable height adds versatility to its use. A thoughtful design feature is the installation screw at the base, which makes securing the pole in the ground quick and effortless. The squirrel guard is highly effective, preventing squirrels from climbing the pole and disturbing the setup. At the top, the pole features a multi-functional bracket that allows for various configurations to attach a birdhouse or feeder. This pole set is not only sturdy but also remarkably convenient.

The media could not be loaded. This was so easy to assemble and it’s super sturdy. Much sturdier than I expected. The soil in my area is too rocky so I didn’t install it in the ground, instead I used heavy duty, zip ties, and attached it to a fence post which worked out just great. Birds boxes/feeders can either be mounted on top of the pole or to the side of the pole like I did.

Four stars as the Manuel to put together is pure crap. Nor does the company have any videos on putting it together. Took longer to do, due to this reason. The materials appears to be quality, the coating covers it well. The bird baffle I placed a lot higher than shown in the Manuel. The auger gives you al good start at putting it into the ground, but I had to place a board over the pipe (unscrewed so top half off) and used small, heavy hammer to pound rest of the way in.) Most poles recommended two feet into the ground for 92 foot pole. Then I raised the squirrel baffle again. Put the bird house on it and it is looking good and is stable.

The pole is nicely sturdy and works terrifically. I tossed the baffle - it is cheap and in 3 pieces. When you assemble the baffle it is uneven, and would probably help a squirrel climb the pole. So far, the pole is high enough that the squirrels haven't gotten to the feeder without any baffle attached. This is worth the price even without the baffle. Works great!Update: I've had the pole in the ground for about 6 months and it has rusted out and broke off in the ground at the first section below the crossbar. Now I'm left with a pole that leans and threatens to fall over every day. I've got some stones around it to try to hold it up, but unfortunately I will need to replace it in the spring. This is definitely not made to put up with wet freezing winter weather.

I ordered this in February and from the beginning, I noticed the bird feeder placed on it was slanted, the pole was slanted, and food was falling out etc., which was annoying. Then, I tried to move it to a different location and once I unscrewed the bottom two connecting pieces, the threads in the metal pole would not align so the two pieces would not connect, and now it doesnt work at all. They make another version of this with 4 prongs for an extra $10 that seemingly/hopefully corrects this problem, which I just had to order today, so I don't know why they are still selling this one that is not functional. I wanted to ask for a refund or for the part to be replaced but there is no way to contact the seller that I can find.
