Probably the best WWE game since Here Comes The Pain
The title says it all, this is the best WWE game since Here Comes the Pain or Smackdown 2. Its not 'THE' best but its definitely up there. The main issues with the game are still to do with collisions (as with previous titles in the series). The characters still float above or intersect parts of the ring depending on the situation. The only other disappointed is that there is no 'wrestlemania edition' like last year which comes with all the DLC in with the price. This is because of the franchise's acquisition by 2KSports.Universe mode has been tweaked making it almost as enjoyable as GM Mode of previous years but still has some annoying features such as the game being intent on booking a certain match no matter how many times you change it.Note that I have only gone over the negatives for this review as those are the things people care about. The game as a whole is fun and exciting.

The best wrestling game to date
I haven't played a wrestling game since smackdown vs Raw 2005 or something but this game was brilliant! The Attitude era campaign is brilliant and I love the inclusion of real-life footage of the matches and events that happened during this time. Gameplay is very good, graphics are improving with each one. So overall very good game and recommended to all wrestling fans!

AWESOME GAME!
A total must have for any wrestling fan with a PS3, the best wrestling game since HCTP and probably better. The new attitude era mode is just overwhelming and nostalgic and the universe mode is better than ever.THQ finally outdid themselves with this one, bringing back the special referee, I quit match, king of the ring tournament and even making the refs slide for the count quicker. Only downside of the game in my opinion is the mid match replays, which cut off the action, for example, you hit a finisher and you're ready to go for the pin but as soon as you hit the circle button it cuts to a replay.Overall it's a five star game and i recommend the purchase.

good game, but dont buy it second hand if you want to play online
good game, especially if your a fan of the attitude era.however i advise you to keep it in mind that if you are planning to play this online you will be expected to pay an online fee if, as i did, you bought it second hand. for the price amazon was asking for it used i pretty much got ripped off as the new version comes with a code for free online and would have cost me less in total.

Bells and Whistles
I've been a lifelongg WWE fan, and I've got hooked on WWE games for PlayStation in 2003, upon the release of SmackDown!: Heres Comes the Pain for a PS2. Just a beautiful piece of software, so user friendly, and with near flawless mechanics. Reversals have been sort of a THQ let down, but for the most part, it just worked really, really well. After a few months, I got to really master all the strikes and grapples and complete it several times since. Granted, the graphics aren't all they are today, but with advances in technology and the progression of time, that goes without saying. This one, however, is a let down.A sad reflection of what WWE itself can be at times, THQ made all the efforts for it to be visually very appealing, but sadly, when it comes down to the nitty-gritty of it, which is wrestling, it's a huge fail.I'm not one to run around during games, hit and flee, and beat the opponent by exhaustion alone, like so many gamers. I prefer a more solid WRESTLING-based game (odd, isn't it?) which allows for grapples and some serious drama to unfold.Unfortunately, in WWE '13 I don't get to do that, as I am constantly outmatched by this putrid, horrible reversal system that so many other users across the web complain about, which really, give you "No chance in hell". And I went as far as lowering the difficulty and lowering every other possible bar there is to lower in the options, but my computer foe, no matter the name, still moves around like a chipmunk on speed and gets me every time.So yes, the "Attitude" is there, the presentation is solid (although it could be better by now, as far as game play characters are concerned), and most of the details are taken care of. The announcing does get repetitive and senseless, but that's also been a poor THQ staple over the years which we, fans, sadly got accustomed to.What really kicks my butt hard is the fact that you have very little chance at actually succeeding at a match, myself having one only two in more than ten. And I don't consider myself a bad player, by any stretch of the imagination. So the "Bottom line" is: don't get it. Just wait for the new gaming company that will be working with WWE from now on to release a new product, which I'm sure will be vastly improved from the same old recycled junk we've seen over the years. (How's that for a revolution?)You can be a part of history then, as this game is already history now.

WWE 13
I bought this game as a christmas present for my son,he love love loves it :D he likes to play his friends on-line. I was also pleased to find that the game was half the price on Amazon. My only gripe would be that my son thought Ryback would be in the game as he is one of his favourite wrestlers you have to "unlock" ie pay a fee at the sony shop which I think is a total rip off.
