This review is for the Cuckoo N0681F pressure cooking rice cooker. (6-cup)We had a Sanyo rice cooker for many years. It was an expensive pressure cooking model, but we finally got tired of it because it’s “keep warm” function would burn the rice at the bottom and turn the rice on top to mush. Switching to this rice cooker had been a vast improvement. Not only does it properly keep the rice warm without ruining the texture, it just cooks much better rice to start with. I was so surprised at how much better the rice is when cooked in this machine because I thought our $200 Sanyo was supposed to be really good. There are 3 things I miss a bit about the old Sanyo though. The inner cooking pot had rounded corners in the bottom, so it was easier to scoop the rice out, and rice wouldn’t stick in the corner when you were trying to clean it, the power cord would retract inside the machine, and there was a bigger holder for rice scoopers. This cuckoo is still so much better though, even though it doesn’t have those conveniences, it is just so much better at making rice, also, the cooking pot in the Cuckoo has handles that won’t burn your fingers even when the rice just finished cooking! Another thing that I really appreciate is the ability to adjust the keep warm temperature. You can set the temperature in 1° increments for the perfect keep warm temperature. There are so many more options that I haven’t even figured them all out yet. We can switch between porridge and rice and it’s perfect every time. You can customize what texture you want. It has a steam cleaning function that I’m not sure how helpful it is. I steam cleaned it after the porridge and I think it helped get the porridge smell out? The steam cleaning did leave sediment in the pot that I had to clean out though. One thing my wife absolutely loves is that it “talks.” It makes cute noises and tells you when it is steaming, or when it’s going to release the steam, and when it’s done etc. it’s also nice because you can select English, Korean, or Mandarin for the voice. One more thing is that this thing will cook the rice perfectly regardless if you are cooking just 1 cup or the full 6 cups, it turns out perfect every time. Our old cooker wouldn’t cook right if you were only cooking 1 cup.

The rice cooked in this machine is fluffy and tasty, it has a lot of options for different types of rices and dishes. When it first arrived the voice navigation was in korean but that can be changed or muted overall a great purchase.

I've tried every single method, read and reread the manual, watched videos, tried every different mode and different amounts of water. I have never been able to get a proper cook of rice ever. There are a ton of complaints on youtube comments, but besides that, I cannot find anyone else who has these results. I am not sure if I have a defective unit, or if this device just royally sucks.

Was looking to downsize from a big rice pot to a smaller one. This was a pretty good choice. Interesting shaped rice cooker. It has more functions than I would ever use, but cool to know I have other options. It comes speaking Korean, but you can easily change it to English. I wish they would've worked on making the lid open slower, but instead it settings open fairly hard. So be sure to keep it away from low cabinets when opening. The rice it makes in turbo boost mode is just as it should be... Deliciously perfect! Cooks up to 4.5 measuring cups of rice well! The cup you get with the cooker is about a 3/4 measuring cup to their 1 cup. It's states up to 6 cups, but it's more like 4.5 give or take. Takes 23 mins to fully cook the rice. That's less time than a meal. Cooked only calrose, but can cook all kinds.

I decided to spend a little more on a rice cooker, and I was not disappointed! This cooker makes rice in about 15 minutes that's super-sticky, perfect for capturing the taste and texture of high quality restaurant rice. The instructions that came packaged with the rice cooker were very easy to follow, and it's awesome for making any sort of asian rice!I can definitely recommend it quite heartily... you get what you pay for!

All I can say is I just wanted to get my daughter a rice cooker that was red, check, non-toxic as I researched and researched, love to listen to korean speaking from this machine, and I wanted this to look fancy and all digital, yet I did NOT want to read the instructions. Well I read like use the inner cup to measure rice, water, and press whatever “type of rice” and pressure/cook. That’s all! I could make much more, but this is elegant and just so gorgeous in our kitchen!Update: I had to buy another inner pot as one of my daughters had used a metal utensil which obviously destroyed the pot. Despite me saying only use the Silicon utensils!So I ordered and paid 183. Roughly for another inner pot that I did not receive. Was supposed to take 2 months to deliver so I had to stop using the rice cooker.The pot no longer shows in my orders and did not receive a refund. Amazon or the seller took the money and deleted the entire order from my account.Taking down to a 3 as this will be the ONLY inner pot so be careful! Please never order another one u will not get it!

It really does make superior rice. We've tried mixed rice, jasmine, and short grain. Instant pop sticky rice would always come out too wet. This cooker makes fluffy rice every time. As an added bonus, it talks and clearly displays remaining cook time. Moisture and water drain off the lid to the rear containment unit. A bit pricey but well worth it.

Cooks fast and keeps the rice fresh a long time. My daughter bought it for me 2 years ago and I loved it so much that l bought one for my other daughter as a Christmas present. Everybody should have this. It’s pretty expensive, but it’s worth it.
