Ultra Pro 24" x 36" Toploader

First off: the packaging, which people here are complaining about. I bought two of these at different times this year, and in both cases, they came in big, flat, boxes and allowed the Top Loader to keep their shape. No complaints here.As to the Top Loader itself, the map condom is very nice. It is made of thick, clear plastic that is not so thick that it distorts the view of the map inside. But the condom is tough enough that should last a long time and keep liquid and other nasties off my war-game maps.Although I can't roll it up to make carrying and storage easier, it does what it is designed to do (protect game maps) well and I am happy with the purchase. My only quibble is that it is a bit too tight to put a mounted map inside, but it works well with paper maps.

I had a larger 12x36 print to store and my flat file folder was not that large. This was a nice alternative. They are somewhat flimsy as expected since they are rather large. It was easy to get the print on and storing under a bed for now. In addition, I received 4 in one box, so I guess I got lucky.

Unlike other reviewers, my Ultra Pro 24" x 36" order arrived in perfect condition. Packaged in an oversized cardboard box, each item was individually held in a plastic bag. No extra padding, but the Ultra Pros arrived unscratched in great condition. This large size is perfect for holding large posters. In lieu of a flat file, the larger Ultra Pros provide a useful, inexpensive means to store your posters.

Okay, so normally I'd go with BCW toploaders, but I couldn't get a good price on this big 24" x 36" size because the Amazon merchants were charging outrageous prices for a piece of plastic; like $26.00 for 1 piece or close to or over $100.00+ for a 5-pack or 10-packs and I didn't need that many.I had ordered 5 different sizes of top loaders including these. Amazon packed (4) of these 24" x 36" pieces along with (1) 18" x 24" toploader and a 13" x 19" 5-pack toploader set. They all arrived undamaged. I know the way they're originally packaged or the shipping part is a point of contention for receiving damaged goods.So, enter Ultra Pro. Quality wise they aren't quite as thick as the BCWs that I have, but my BCW's are smaller in size so I don't know if its'a fair comparison or not. On the whole, I wanted to secure 4 pieces of poster art in this 24" x 36" size and the poster fit perfectly with no issues. The $8.99 price was a very attractive price point, too!And, NO, this toploader will NOT stand up under it's own weight. It either needs to be in a secure environment (like a bin that is made for art this size) or leaning up / prompted up against other top loaders of similar sizes or laid horizontally flat. Because I read other reviewers reviews, I knew it wouldn't stand up straight on it's own and I didn't need it to in my case, so keep that in mind that it is NOT rigid to that degree.Otherwise, it is very clear and recommended archiving artwork at a decent $8.99 price point for one.

Saw the reviews of damaged goods, still risked it.I made a mistake.I ordered 3 of them. One was trashed, it was crumpled, punctured and wrinkled. The bottom right corner was FOLDED and the poster sleeve wasn't smooth at all anymore. Any posters I put into that would not only be ugly due to all the reflections but get damaged with how bent it was.The second of the 3 had a small crinkle in the middle, I'm going to accept it and write it off as neglecable but I still noticed the flaw as anyone would if they tried to look. It's about 2 inches but I'm hoping it'll be hard to see with a poster in it.The last of the 3 was perfect with no wrinkles, punctures, or folds.Overall I recieved about 1.5/3 of the product I paid for. Got 1 perfect product, a slightly flawed one and one that should be thrown into the garbage. Find somewhere else to get your poster sleeves. Might I add the box was fine, the product was only damaged.

don’t know if it is a manufacturer error or distributor error because this was sent to me in a large box that ensured no bending or folding of the product yet there was a prominent crease mark near the mid right lower corner. if i was purchasing a used or refurbished item i’d be more understanding but for this price and it being advertised as new i’ll subtract a star.it was also difficult to load the poster into the sleeve and my vintage 1970’s garden of eden poster now has a small tear on the side of it post install despite having an extra set of hands and being careful. i’ll have to deduct another star for that.aside from those two flaws, it is a great display. my poster looks great besides the one crease and small tear, and was easily mounted with the 6 lb velcro picture hanging command strip set (which i also purchased here on amazon). i am happy to have my poster on display in a sturdy protective case that does not create glare or mute colors/ details.

Liked everything about it. Ordered 2. They had a couple creases in them, but it didn't effect the view of the posters. I attached my posters on a sandwich board with velcro, so I could easily remove them to change my posters out for our next event. The poster fit very snug, so I was able to turn them upside down to keep the water out, and the poster would not slip out the bottom.Hope they last in the sun.

Used to put poster in my son's room so he would leave it alone! It is working perfectly. The poster and shield are still in tact. I just used velcro command strips to hold it to the wall for if I want to take it down.
