Advance Blade Assembly Replacement for Vitamix 15990 Quite One Series Barboss Blender Station Drink Machine

We have multiple vitamix blenders we use in our business, and the gears had gotten stripped from employees removing the blender while the motor was still spinning.Got these quickly, in new condition. We replaced the blade gear on a couple different blenders and it was a perfect direct swap/replacement for all of them. A quick youtube video showed how to remove the old ones but you don’t need a fancy tool, just wrap a rag around a large set of pliers and it will work.Saved a bunch of money over buying new units all together.

Pros: Installed it into my 64 oz classic Vitamix canister in 3 minutes. The blade and assembly seem identical to the one it replaced. The included tightening tool is actually very helpful in removing the old blade and putting the new one in.Cons: The little tamping rod stand is not that useful--yes it works, but it doesn't hold the rod very securely or well.Final thoughts: We've had our vitamix for nearly 20 years. The motor is still going strong, but the blades do wear out, and this resolved that neatly. Rather than pay ridiculous prices for a whole replacement canister, this little blade assembly allows you to breathe new life into an old canister where the blade bearing assembly has worn out.

Just like my original blender blade, this is a great fit. Since my blender is an older model I thought having an extra blade for the future will be perfect. The motors are incredible and mine has lasted about 10 years now. The blades and blenders themselves will get old and used much faster I think.Having this spare part is going to save me time and trouble when ill need to repair it.Im very happy with it and I find having the tool along with the blade is great too.

The blade on this is a thicker, flatter, and a little less sharp than the original.It's otherwise almost identical, and I don't see any difference in performance. It fits nicely, spins smoothly, and it does the job well. This is a very viable replacement, and I'll order another when the time comes.

Just noticed the return window has closed. I’ve owned and used this blade for 5 weeks and it doesn’t completely blend the carrots and frozen liver I place in my smoothies. Vitamix blades liquify - these turn your Vitamix into an ordinary blender.

I lost my original tamper from my Vitamix and this one works just as well! Fits perfectly and is the right size.

Bought this assembly after trying to repair the bearings on my old one (twice). Seems to work really well, only thing is blades have different pitch and sharpness than original so it causes some cavitation. May try putting Vitamix blades onto it if it bugs me… Definitely worth buying this if your Vitamix container is leaking from the base! Beats a new one for $200+!
