Fast and fun!!!!!
I got this for myself. I LOVED the color. The packaging is great. After I’m done playing with it I let it dry out and put it back in the box. We take the pontoon boat out on the lake and throw the anchor in and chill. That’s when we will get out our boats and run them all over. I cannot believe how far away from me this thing can go. When it came I took out the batteries and charged them up and away we went. It is sooooo easy to use!!! It’s a lot of fun when the whole family is running the boats all over. People stop and watch us. Just make sure there is no seaweed in the area you are running them. Just like a normal boat it will get stuck in the prop and slow you down. This is my first remote controlled boat and it’s good for kids and adults. I think it was a very good price for what I got.

Boat is great! Watch some video of it!
The media could not be loaded. Don't expect a speed demon, but it's fast enough. No water-cooling of the motors, but it will run and run until the battery is out. I'd say the battery lasts about 25-30 minutes, which is great. The lighting has this cool twinkling effect. The kids love it. Maneuverability is excellent. The size is as expected. Quality is good enough to stay going all day and it's a lot of fun. Battery changing is also pretty fast and super easy.

Looks Great but Haven’t Tested It Yet
I gave this RC Boat as a Christmas gift last year, and the recipient was thrilled and excited to use it. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been taken out on the water yet, so I can’t comment on its performance. It looks great out of the box and seems well-made. Based on the initial reaction, it’s an exciting gift, but I’ll have to update this review once it’s been tested!

Not Just for Kids, Lots of Fun, Good Return Policy
The first unit I received had a bad remote control unit. The power switch wouldn't work properly - you had to jiggle it just right into position to get it to stay on. I immediately initiated a return and received a fully working unit within just a few days. The second unit worked flawlessly. It does require 4 x AA batteries for the remote which are not included. But the rechargeable battery for the boat is provided as is a USB charging cable. It takes over an hour - maybe closer to two - to charge the battery. It took me a minute or two to figure out how to insert the boat battery. You have to pinch the canopy of the boat and pull and it comes free. Not sure how water tight it seals, but normally it's above water and if the boat is upside down then the air pressure should really keep the water out.It comes with two replacement propellers and the nuts that secure them on the shaft as well as a small wrench used to remove the nuts. One neat feature (that is also a drawback) is that the boat ONLY turns on when it's in the water. There's no power switch, just a water sensor. On the one hand, this is nice because you never have to worry about leaving it on accidentally. On the other hand, if the boat flips you will have to go into the water to retrieve it. There is a "flip" feature but it isn't going to work under that circumstance because the power to the boat shuts off despite the instructions claiming that this feature will right the boat. I tried the flip feature in my bathtub with the boat upside down and nothing happened.I never got to try the "flip" feature during normal running because it's too cold outside and the water is too cold. If I tried to flip it and it landed upside down I'd have to go out into the lake to retrieve it. I'll have more fun with it next summer when it's warm enough for me to swim out to it if needed.I should mention that I've found the best way to start the boat is to place it in the water with one hand while still holding onto it. Once the boat lights up, slide the power switch of the remote control to "on" until the red and green led lights on the remote are both solid on. The reason for this is because I've had at least one instance where I placed it in the water and the propellers immediately started turning and the boat took off from me. The remote control was already on but I wasn't pressing any of the controls so I don't know why it did this. After a few seconds, the boat stopped and then everything worked fine. To be on the safe side, I now place it in the water and hold onto it until I know the remote is on and properly paired. The lights are kind of cool in darker settings but are mostly just informative during full daylight, so you know it's on and so it's easier to see which way it's oriented.Overall, it's a ton of fun and I've yet to run out the battery during my 15 minute test runs. It's supposed to have an alarm for both low battery and when the boat is getting out of signal range. I haven't experienced either alarm yet but I don't run it too long or too far (because I'm worried about having to retrieve it.)

False advertising
False advertising. It says 15 KM/H on the box but 15 MPH online. Thats about 9 MPH. It was slow as heck. The lights were cool though and it worked fine. I just didn’t appreciate being lied to

Stopped working
This product was great when I first got it. Super fast and great controls but after I used it for 10 minutes it started slowing down. I thought it must be dead so I let it charge for 3 hours. Next time I brought it out it was still incredibly slower than when I first got it. I have no idea what happened so I looked inside the boat and there was a bunch of white stuff that had just appeared out of nowhere. If anyone knows how to fix it please let me know!!

Fun little racer with lights
The first one we got never really worked, but the replacement was fine. It’s a big hit.
