Did my own install. This has 3 m2 slots. It was the easiest thing ever. I love this board, for the price, it is the best valued DDR5, LGA 1700 board on the market right now (as of writing this review).

The Asus Prime Plus Z790m mATX DDR5 version is a great motherboard. I paired it with an i7 14700K and a 32GB (2x16GB) kit of G.Skill ram. 7,200MHz CL34 DDR5 ram. (Trident Z5 RGB).I kept having issues with DIMM A2 not showing the proper timings when using MemTest86. It read 8-4-4-28 which it is 34-45-45-115. Even with XMP disabled. DIMM B2, zero issues. 7,200MHz XMP worked on B2, but not A2. Odd... The ram is fine. I replaced the CPU, not the issue. MemTest86 fails only on A2 slot if XMP is enabled. Even if you set the ram to 1.41 volts. It is just unstable.A2 slot only runs stable at 6,800MHz. It was the only time MemTest86 never failed A2 slot with XMP enabled. I'm running my DRAM Timings at 32-44-44-108. I hope this helps anyone who runs into the same issue.

I am trying to build a PC, buying components at Amazon.2 months have gone by. I have nothing.2-3 week to wait for some components. Some packages look suspicious to me. Is it used stuff? The Video Card was definitely used. A $500 processor is packed worse than some $30 thing.My assembly does not work - just blinking! I have everything replaced already. Now I am going to return the processor.It is my sixth selfbuilt computer. Nothing like this happened in the past.Now I have almost pro knowledge, after two months of fighting.Building a PC with Amazon - was a horrible idea for me.
