On-Stage Keyboard Sustain Pedal

This is a nice pedal, has a long wire so works well in all spaces and has a good range of pressure. Have been using for a year with my Casio synth with no issues so would recommend.

Nice sensitivity and seems well made BUT still has a tendency to slide around on anything other than carpet flooring

Purchased sept 29th 2020. Broke Jun 8th 2021. This was sustain pedal #4. The first one, the original one supplied with the piano, lasted a few years. The next two (different brands) lasted a few weeks. This one actually lasted over 6 months! I play on average around 1 hour per day.Most of these pedals seem to be a pile of cheap plastic crap. They are simply not robust enough to handle significant amounts of use. I am sick of buying them. I am going to literally rebuild this one, making my own steel case in my workshop. It shall be indestructible. I cannot risk having one fail in a performance.

I bought this so I can have a sustain pedal on my cheap keyboard. For the money, it's an excellent value, not cheap and flimsy, and it feels fine and works perfectly. It comes with a little slip-on clear plastic cover to make it non-skid --- I'll probably just leave it on to protect the finish on the chrome part. I researched this purchase carefully and found that there are several similar products available that cost double the price, but they are very lightweight, I believe this one weighs over 1 lb, that's the detail to check.

I have used this pedal on both my  Roland RD-300NX Digital Piano  and my  Roland V-Combo VR-700  and it's one hundred percent compatible with both. One nice feature that ensures compatibility is the polarity switch that enables it to work with just about any brand and model keyboard.It's well constructed and I have not encountered any issues with the two-piece bottom. In fact, after over a year of use on carpet issues reported by another have not surfaced. If anything this pedal is as good as new.The feel is superb. There is positive resistance as you depress the pedal and the spring tensions it in such a manner that you can control exactly the rate of depression or release. It is not so tight as to fatigue, but the response is positive.Another feature I love is the six foot cord length - it gives you room to place the pedal when you have tiered keyboards and multiple pedals on the floor. The cable itself and the plug look to be high quality and have withstood over a year of constant use with no problems.If you are looking for an inexpensive, but not cheaply made, pedal that will work with just about any keyboard this one is worth considering. 最初、YAMAHAの純正品を買おうと思ったのですが、こちらの方が安かったので、こちらに決めました。使い勝手はいいです。純正品との比較はしていませんが、ペダルを踏んだまま、キーボードのスイッチを入れると、動作が逆になってしまいますので、注意が必要です。
