ASG CZ SP-01 Shadow .177 Caliber Steel BB Gun Air Pistol

Looks & feels like original weapon. All polymer so weight is low but quite acceptable. Shoots well & very conservative C02 use. Fun.

Super accurate and works really good with crosman co2 would recommend for a beginner

I bought this product with the hope that I could use it for training purposes as it is a 1:1 replica of the real firearm. Unfortunately, I was very quickly disappointed when, after only three days of use, the double action mechanism on the trigger-hammer assembly stopped working. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. With the rising costs of ammunition, I was hoping to use this replica to substitute my real firearm for training weapons manipulations and trigger control. I could not have been more wrong with my choice as this is the second ASG pistol replica that I have bought and end it up having to return while not ever enjoying using it. The first one was an ASG CZ P10 c airsoft replica that I bought for the same purpose.

For the price it’s pretty good for a starter the material could’ve been better but other than that it’s held up good also got shot point blank with it and ha to dig the bb out with a magnet so even tho this should be common sense don’t shoot anyone with this unless you want to possibly send them to the emergency room lol

Mostly plastic housing. Metal where it counts. Light weight and accurate size. Good safety switch. Detachable magazine for CO2 cartridge and loading bb's. A little hard to grab the piercing knob to load cartridges but didn't loose hardly any air before the seal held tight. Very accurate up to 50 feet. SA/DA trigger but non-blowback style. Identical look to my actual CZ pistol.

Certainly looks impressive with its all-metal build. Appears good for training i.e., slide lock, faux (non functional) ejection port to check if any bb's are chambered, safety works (when slide is pulled all the way back over the hammer), and trigger's re-set click. Mag c02 screw at bottom comes with wide hex wrench and secures cartridge.Main issues: Best to load in c02 cartridge before loading bb's- somehow the mag bottom plate and bb's are harder to remove/load before cartridge is installed. Cartridge piercing's iffy- either you'll tighten it too hard creating lots of hissing and the mag gets really cold, or too soft and the gun won't fire. Double action trigger is fussy- sometimes the slide cycles completely or only half way. There's no de-cocking feature, so you've got to pull the slide back for single action. There's no guarantee it works so it's best to use double action. Trigger pull and creep are long, though you'll feel the re-set before each shot. To add further grief, the gun doesn't always fire off the bb regardless you've set everything up correctly.In comparison, my Umarex Walther CP99 Compact's c02 cartridge finger wheel tightener is a pain. However, the gun cycles smoothly through each shot, the slide blows back/returns, bb's fire, slide locks back when the mag is emptied, and it hasn't failed yet in the two years I've had it.

The product is easy to load and use. Gas cylinder holds charge even when it’s not used in a couple of days. Pellets may be too small for my intended nuisance target.

I haven't used it for any of its intended purposes, I rlly just like to play around and have it as cute decor and it's totally worth it !! I didn't want a prop gun that felt light, this one has a good weight and the trigger is fun to pull unloaded, the safety also makes a happy click noise going on and off. I want to get into airsoft and idrk if this works for that, but if I do end up doing smth with it then I'll totally update later :D Either way, one of my favorite purchases, if ur interested in feeling ur comfort with this kind of hobby I rlly recommend it !
