This review will be for my gamers ONLY. Upgrading from a 1070 to this EVGA 3070 and instantly saw a jump in performance. I won’t lie I got one heck of a deal for only $400 compared to the almost $600 price tag and I’m pretty happy about the price to performance I paid for it.Ok let’s get down to what I’m talking aboutTemps: This card has never and I mean never breached 70C while gaming and I put it through some extensive games ie Starfield, CyberPunk, Black Myth Wukong and others.FPS: well I guess it all depends on what you’re playing and the entire build of your PC. With a R7 2700 I see most fps of about 80-90 in older games and 200+ in much older games. However with newer games it’s a bit hard to get past 70 in most scenarios such as starfield with drops as low as 33.Noise Level: I can’t even hear this thing half the time I spent the first couple days checking to see if the fans even worked or were on (they were) due to me buying refurbished and yea nothing, they did spin up a lot during some scenes in starfield but calmed down pretty fast afterwards. During that duration threw on some headphones and couldn’t hear it again.As far as installation goes make sure your case has the necessary clearance as I didn’t and now have to run with no front glass or PSU shroud (to be fair I can probably easily put the shroud back on however that takes me taking out my gpu and I’m too lazy lol) until I upgrade, my own miscalculation however. And also account for any support you may need, it has a backplate which is fair enough for holding it but personally I didn’t like the way it sagged so I put a brace under and all is good.Overall: If you’re looking for a solid card to run most games at med-high-ultra settings at 1440p, then this a good card for you, pretty low temps with very high performance, Be sure to have proper room and clearance as it is a big boy.PC SPECS:B450 Aurous Pro Wifi Rev1 MBRyzen 7 2700 CPU w/ Prism Spire coolerCorsair RM750e PSUVengeance Pro RGB 16 (2x8) RamDeepCool Matrexx 70 RGB Case2 SanDisk NVMesAverage FPS for most titles: 90-123 on High/UltraAverage FPS for newer titles: 55-80 on Med

After using this graphics card for about 8 months it started crashing games on light loads. To the point where I need to restart my whole computer to have the monitors show signal or display again. When I first had the GPU I made sure to test that it worked as intended and no artifacts are present in the display.Also upon first installing, there was a lot of issues when browsing chrome or watching videos where I would see a lot of black boxes. I thought it was a minor bug at first, since it seemed like a common issue among other people - but it might've been a symptom of an already faulty GPU.I've tested 2 different GPUs and the black box issue was only present on the refurbished GPU. And random FPS drops was only present on this refurbished GPU.

It was a decent price and came in perfect condition, and works great! I’m Not sure if I just got really lucky but mine is like new and perfect!

I've had nothing but issues since buying evga products. My graphics card u hadn't even had for 3 years yet had both fans just fall out of the GPU. When I call EVGA to see what can be done they tell you your SOL and that they'll send replacement fans which they never do. Their customer support center is only open on Mondays and at very specific times. All in all a bad company you'd be better spanding your money elsewhere.

Easy to install and update

I recently purchased a 3070 and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! I got an amazing deal on this GPU, and it blows away my two evga 970's in sli! The idle wattage is less than a single 970, nevermind being able to run literally every game on the highest settings and in 4k. I had been searching for quite some time for a newer GPU, and I've made purchases before directly from EVGA. I'm very pleased with the shipping time, the card arrived within four days, a day earlier than anticipated, with free shipping too! It plugged right into my system and booted with zero issues.
