It’s been ‘created’ but still beautiful
First of all I read the description. This is not a fossil, this is a lovely collection of small ammonites in a resin material. It is so lovely. I love ammonites, and I felt this was something interesting I would appreciate for a long time. The ammonites are well arranged. The photo shown is sized the same as the one I received.

Very glossy and encased in resin not like shown. There's no texture or depth.

This “fossil” was manufactured from rock and fossil fragments epoxied together. There is very little that is natural about it.

A piece of ancient history? Looks like it anyway. I don't know that they don't fill in with artificial minerals or resins, but I don't care. This looks really cool and I have it on display in my library.
