If you have invested your time and money to obtain the highest quality RAW images from your camera and then view them on a monitor screen that you have taken the time to calibrate to get an image that correct in its colouring, why would you when printing out your image not use the printer manufacturers Inks and maybe even their paper for the best results. Yes the inks are not cheap but they have been made to a high standard that remains constant from batch to batch. I know when I press the print button what I am going to see printed will be as near as possible the same looking image as I saw on the monitor. I care that when I set out to create an image the final print will not let me down. I do have an inexpensive printer in which I use cheap third party inks for general printing where the colour output is not important. Photography is only a hobby, but when friends tell me how much they spend on a round of golf, the cost of ink looks very reasonable.

Eco-packaging feels very odd but if it is better for the environment happy to go with it. Significantly cheaper than the normal plastic packaging but happy that it the real thing. Real problem is the simply gouging price of Epson cartridges. Have used good quality substitutes but they don't work as well with this generation of Epson inks in my experience. Colours are flatter.

Genuine ink, packaged in recyclable cardboard which fits through your letterbox so don't have to be in. Item is pricey would if possible wait for price drops or deal of the day. Ink fits no problem, easy to unpackage & install & being genuine produces good quality images. Would recommend XL better lasts longer & better value for money. Though quality is excellent gave 4 stars as think prices for ink carts are over priced.

Great quality photos, but expensive, for what you get.

When I first got the printer, the full pack of cartridges cost nearly £100. Now, with this easy post eco-friendly packaging, the price is below £80. The Epson XP-960 is a brilliant printer, and these original cartridges make the most of its capabilities. I would never go for refills! Stick with Epson!!

As the owner of an Epson Expression Photo XP-970 printer, I am forced to buy this ink. I have tried the cheaper alternatives but they are too inconsistent. Although Epson 24XL Elephant High Yield Genuine Multipack is a good quality product, it is too expensive and every year the price increases. Why?! Unfortunately, I was not aware of Epson's greed prior to purchasing my photo printer for my small business. Overall, I don't consider this product good value for money.

The way that these ink cartridges are packaged means that they will fit through a letter box and therefore you do not have to be at home to receive delivery.As for the inks themselves they meet my requirements to produce high quality images, even though they are more expensive.
