Gifted a good book

if you loved the tv series and want more, this is a great book for you.it's the first of the avatar comics and picks off right where the series ended. i thought it was a really good story, as compelling and thoughtful as the series. i liked that every character features in this comic so your fave will be there!the library edition, although pricey, is really worth investing in since you get:- all parts of the promise (1-3) in one book with a nice hardcover- little notes from the author and illustrators in the margins, which are really nice to read as you're reading the story because they add that little bit of extra context or are just fun to know!

Just finished watching Avatar for the 2nd time.I didn't expect, that this book would LITERALLY continue the last episode. Even showing scenes from the last episode so it really does feel like a continuation!! It feels like I can get lost in this book, like I did with the TV show, I love the world they created, it's like it never ended.It's the first Library edition i've read. Only a few pages in, but let me tell you; so far the characters all seem exactly how they would act in the show and the drawings appear to be very accurate. Their personalities are spot on. Having a blast so far. This is literally the first time i've ever looked forward to reading a book EVER. I am not normally a book reader, but I thought i'd try because I need something to do before bed that doesn't involve staring at a TV screen because it makes me feel awfully tired the next day. Anyway. RECOMMENDED IF YOU LIKE THE AVATAR SERIES (best animated TV series of all time in my opinion!!!)

The book is super-high quality from top to toe.The hardcover is superior with nice color and provides good protection for the whole book.Every page is made of decent-quality paper. As you touch on the page, you will feel that the product is made with good material. The book is the combination of the 3 parts from The Promise. The price is (dropped to) equal total price of all three books together, but the quality of this book is far higher than the 3 of them together. If you know that you would buy all three parts of The Promise, buy this one instead, they have extra features like concept art, writers' thoughts, artist' feelings... and the quality is above the normal comic you would get.I absolutely recommend this to anyone searching to buy The Promise from Avatar The Last Airbender. This is the best product I have ever bought!Forgot to mention, the shipping was fast as well! Good trade!

Great value forMoney

IN LOVE with this version. You get little annotations at the side that give you deeper knowledge of the making of the comic and extra sketches at the end of the book. The quality is amazing. The paper feels good, the colours are vibrant and over all it's an amazing book. Either I'm a fast reader or it's a short story but I read it in one afternoon. Loved every bit of it. Highly recommend.

Arrived swiftly, well packaged. Love Avatar series and was quite lost after having finished it. The follow on comic books are amazing - great artwork and they finish off the stories to great satisfaction. My kids (8&10) also really loved the comics too.

With regards to the product I was sent: it came in perfect condition. A big beautiful book filled with amazing, colourful illustrations.With regards to the contents of the book: Another journey into the world of Avatar, and it does not disappoint (Although Aang and Katara calling each other sweetie is a bit too much for me). The story itself is quite thoughtful, but also fun. We see Zuko struggling with some of the decisions he has to make as Fire Lord, and its a very interesting read.

Es como seguir viendo la serie, es como continuar viendo la serie JUSTO donde acaba y ver como de hecho este libro cuenta como se crea la ciudad que aparece en Korra.El libro es enorme y contiene todos las partes de “La Promesa”. La calidad de dibujo es SUBLIME. Gran arte complementado con los comentarios de los creadores donde te cuentan porque eligieron dibujarlo así y que pasaba por sus cabezas cuando lo hicieron (Gran detalle y adición). La historia es muy buena y contiene el nivel de profundidad que también tiene la serie.Si eres fan, es compra obligada.El siguiente cómic a este es “The Search”.

Honestly I did not read the details about the book so I was surprised that is hardbound. The book is large and heavy. The story is great and the art is amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed it
