Our house has no UTP installed, but has plenty of coax for TV distribution (several points going though an aerial distribution amp). Placed one of these next to the router, connected it to the TV outlet, the UTP connection to the router, then connected it's pair in another room to a network switch to provide a connection to a wireless point, and direct UTP to the TV/Settop box.These units also have a pass through to connect to a TV, so there's no need to buy an aerial splitter to get everything connected. (Just make sure that you have some aerial and F-Type connectors, and some aerial cable to place the units where you'd like them.)
