Fits a 75+ litre Rucksack from deuter and the 75+ from osprey with still spare room! The shoulder strap can be rolled up and pushed into a wee pocket underneath the top handle, so nothing is loose and can get caught whilst transporting as flight luggage.

Very nice product, used it on a 3 week trip with multiple flights and bus rides. No problems at all and felt secure about the protection of my backpack.Bag is lightweight and still very strong. One thing to note is that the sizes are quite big. We got one small and one medium size Airporter. The small one easily fits a 60L pack and the medium one fit my 70L pack plus another 25L pack. Having the extra size might be nice in some cases but a baggy cover is not better when travelling.The only complaint I have is that the pocket for the shoulder strap does not close so you have to be careful how you pack it so that it doesn't fall out during travel. If it gets loose it could easily trap on conveyor belts.

My 75L hiking pack fits perfectly. Finally a great solution for checking it as baggage - all the straps are safe.

This bag is WAY too big. I originally bought a large bag and determined it was too big. So, I returned it and ordered the medium size. However, the medium was much too large also. As I was going on a trip, I didn't have time to return it and order a small bag.The airline tried to charge us for an oversize bag fee even though the backpack inside the protective bag was not oversized. It's just that there was so much extra fabric (length specifically).Since the bag was expensive (in comparison to non-Osprey bags) and I had used it, I will use a luggage strap in the future if I am going to check the bag.
