Functional, just
This is literally just a kitchen scale mechanism in a spool holder. This means it doesn't remember the spool weight, so everytime you want to check you need to lift the spool off the holder, turn it on, wait for it to zero, put the spool back down then deduct the spool weight from the reading.The only reason it didn't get returned was as far as I can tell this is the only option on the market.

Officially branded Creality
Came in an Creality box and seems to be officially branded but costs less than ones sold by Creality. Works great and has no issues.

Better than original
Has a metal mounting bracket that mounts it with T nuts. The ball bearings are very smooth allowing the filament to feed very smoothly.

Not persistent, goes to sleep after about 20 seconds and loses its zero
It is a great concept poorly executed. After zeroing and then putting on a spool, the scale goes to sleep and immediately loses its zero. This misses the point as I want to check usage as the machine is running. You can get a stand along scale for a fraction of the cost if you are just going to weight the spool before mounting. It should keep its zero even if only while the USB C charging cable is connected.

Not compatible with CR Touch/damaged product
Ordered and came on time. Opened my Amazon padded envelope and the creality box was opened and damaged. It’s not compatible with CRtouch so I did not even attempt to put it on my ender 3 v2.
