It's hard to like this product. We bought two to replace very old units that were already installed. Cosmetically the polished finish looks good and the switches feel slick in operation, but in practice when rotates the dimmers nothing happens for ages then everything happens within a few degrees of movement, which is poor design.Things did not improve when one failed within two days. Don't do what we did and try to save money on these, but go to your local hardware store and buy quality units... as we are about to do.One final point - these units are very slightly smaller than standard switches, so be prepared to see paint lines around the perimeter of them. Unlovely
