Q: does this work on suede loafers, they got soaked & are now stiff as a board?

If oiled leather suede yes but it is not recommeded for suede, even though it will soften the leather, it will darken the colour and change the character of the leather. You could try Famaco Vel Vel for suede.

Q: Does anyone know if this will change the colour of the yellow stitching on a brand new pair of Dr Marten Cappers?

It is always best to try any product on a hidden area because one pair can have a slightly different manufacturing process to another. Mink oil is a deep penetrating oil to keep the leather supple and waterproof, perfect for boots.

Q: what is the ingredient list?

Doesn’t say but I believe it’s rendered down mink carcasses from bodies left after fur’s been removed. It’s definitely not whales but not V nice. It was recommended for softening a new leather bicycle saddle.

Q: How much of this is actually mink oil and where is it made?

My order for this got cancelled by the supplier so can’t help ya 🤷♂️
