Wonderful toy and our dog adores it. Worth every penny
Fantastic toy and our dog loves it.Always on the lookout for, different toys for our Poodle. It has to be something that, will test him. Having seen another one which was, a variation of, the one I have already. I wanted to know where I could get it? I contacted Trixie directly and, when they heard about, how intelligent our dog is. Said that that toy was for a puppy and was a stage 1. Whereas, he needed a stage 3! She recommended this one and I am so delighted with it. My wife intends to make a video of him, using it. But for now, her illness is preventing this. My wife sets this up,around 8pm each night. However, if our dog thinks, its gone past this time. He will walk past the box a few times, as if to say, 'hurry up!' The very first time my wife used this, she sat the lid on the top and didn't lock it. Thinking that, it won't matter? HOW wrong she was! Because, he lifted the lid, by the handle, thinking he could get at the treats quicker! So, it wasn't a mistake we made again! Love the variation of, where you can place the button. We found he loves it best, inside the rubber circle that, comes with it.. but, typical Poodle, who wants everything yesterday.. He keeps his paw resting on the button and, pushes it, when he wants more treats. I love the fact too that, I can ajust the inside barrel, to slow down the speed the treats fall out. Its well worth the money, and I would highly recommend it. As I wanted it quickly, I paid for this to arrive within 24 hrs, or in N, Ireland, its 48 hrs. Your dog will love you for getting this, for them. P A W.

Great enrichment!
My dog took to this immediately! There was no real learning curve, he figured it out really well with the trigger button sound. The whirring is loud, but that's great because it just reinforces the button sound worked to him.My only complaint, and it's a very small one, is that the suction cup doesn't work at all so the button moves around a bunch. Not a big enough deal to knock a star off but would be perfect if the suction cup worked more smoothly.

Charging point bug but good for price you pay
Thw only reason i give 4 stars is the charging point broke very quickly and when we took it apart it was quite flimsy inside how the port was mounted. However. I think if trixie know about this issue it can be easily adressed and for the price compared to my trainers who paid nearly 3 times what i paid it works just as well. The dogs love it and find it really fun. It does what it say on the tin and apart from the charging port its very sturdy and well made. Overall good value for money. You can still use it on batteries if the chrge point breaks and id rather do that than spend a lot more money on a more expensive model.

So much fun, sturdy and well thought out!
I love this product and so does my dog! I have a bouncy Weimaraner and it has withstood several sessions of him learning how it works through whacking it, nosing it, pushing it over etc. Most toys can’t cope with his experimental learning techniques! He has got the idea now and is learning how to do it accurately. I love that you can make it harder and harder by increasing the distance, changing the location of the button (floor, dog head height with the suction pad, in the garden with the peg). This is really well designed and thought out! The noise adds an extra cue to tell him that he has done it successfully rather than bothering to traipse back to the treat dispenser to find no reward (again, more thinking involved in getting the idea with this). Plus there are two different noises so you can switch it up!As enrichment toys go.... this is a winner!

Fabulous tool for the pooch
We have a Samoyed, this tool has been really good to engage the dog when eating. Normally our dog will scoff his food in seconds, this device makes it a mentally and physically challenging exercise. It only took a few goes to train our dog to press the button with his nose and we have been able to to increase the distance further and further. He now presses the button in a different room and then gets the food dispensed in the kitchen. To keep the dog from knocking over the feeder, we placed it on a shelf so it spits food out onto the floor from a height. We coupled it with a snuffle mat so it doesn't bounce all over the place. We wedged the button into a food bowl so it doesn't slide around or tempted the dog into picking it up. All in all, after using for a couple of weeks, it has been really good. Would recommend

Good but I question the robustness of the unit......
Once your dog has learnt this you will amaze all your friends and relatives with how smart your pooch is. Don't give up on the training though, we tried for about 2 weeks, approximately 20 minutes a night - nothing.............. Then gave her a rest and went back to it a week later, she got it straight away, clever pooch! However, the reliability of the actual unit is questionable.... Just had to get a replacement after 6 weeks, bearing in mind only 4 weeks of real usage at 20 minutes a day, and my clever pooch is a Cockapoo, so no mountain of a dog! The foot switch failed, Thankfully Amazon replaced the whole unit but you would think that something that is designed for a dog to press would be slightly more robust! Let's wait and see how long this one lasts....28th April, foot switch fails again and my pooch only played with it twice.... sorry but gave up and returned for a full refund.

Great product
Very quick delivery. Love this as much as my dog does, this is our second one we've had. When your dog is trained the 'button' to release the dosage can be kept away from the device or hidden. It's very sturdy & I do leave it for my dog during the day as I can control how much is released, she can get the food if she wants but has to work for it and I trust her with it (I wouldn't recommend going this for all dogs, especially if they like to chew or move things around). Unfortunately we have ran out of places to hide the 'button', however she does enjoy finding it. I would definitely recommend this and it was cheaper than other places I searched which is always a bonus.
