Use low volume toner and hair has to be white blonde to start with
For anyone using this I’ve used it for years it’s a very subtle colour and your hair needs to be very pale almost white blonde for it to show. Needs to be 1-1, with developer and needs to be a low developer 4%. And if you water down the developer it takes quicker and stronger however it’s temporary and does wash out mine turns out stunning always doing this

My hair is bleached blonde I put this pink on a week after my bleach and it didn't take at all. Plus it smelt funny too.

I like it but there are minor cons ...
I feel mixed about this colour line. It's very subtle. If you have hair bleached and toned to white, you get a lovely soft pastel that fades nicely. The first time I used Smoky Amythyst, it was gorgeous on my white toned hair and left some pastel sheen. But it washed out after maybe one or two washes.If your hair is not bleached and toned to an almost white, this sheer colour will show the underlying colour and you'll likely get undesired results. Muted Mauve over my pale blonde (and grey) hair made the pale blonde a bit like a dingy silver. I do purchase these and use at various times for various reasons but you know be exact wjth your planning and execution or else you've wasted money on product, developer, and time. You'll be disappointed if not used as intended.Also, I believe you may get a stronger colour result with 10 or 20 volume developer but do so at your own risk.It doesn't cover naturally white hair so if you're a silver-haired person, this will not give you a collur result mixed with 6 volume. A higher volume, maybe, but probably not worth the potential peroxide damage to delicate white or silver hair.

Very pleased with this product. I wanted a pink blonde and i got the right shade. The shade of pink you get depends on how long you stay with the product on your hair. The longer you keep it on the deeper the shade. Please note that this can only be used on blonde hair for it to actually work.
