Great little light. I bought this yo use while walking our dog at night. I use the flashing red light to alert drivers on the roads that don't have side walks. Easy to turn on and off when needed. Plus is rechargeable and charge lasts more than a week

This light arrived very quickly. After I opened the box, which also contained a USB charging cable, I charged the device. Please note that the light does not come with a charger, only a cable. However, my Apple cube charger for my iPhone worked nicely. You could also use the USB port on your computer to charge the unit as well.There is a small red light that flashes as the unit is charging and remains steady when the charge is complete. I found a convenient pocket on my coat to attach the light, and I pressed the button twice to select the lower intensity continuous white light. A single press will give a light of much brighter intensity. I used the light to walk my dog in the dark, and it worked very well! It's nice to have both hands free as I walk my occasionally excitable and rowdy dog.When you are finished using the light, one press of the button turns it off. This light has other modes that work equally well; the red strobe light would be helpful in an emergency.. Fortunately, I have not had to use it for this purpose.
