This gemstone is very unique. The first time I saw it it immediately reminded me of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The fact that it glows is what prompted me to purchase it, along with me remembering the movie. (Y'all remember those stones that look like sugar babies with the three lines across the front?) Either way the stone itself is one of the coolest that I own. I've yet to get a black light (I think that's the light you're supposed to use to make it glow, but I'm not really sure) just to sit around and play with it. The size is huge and it's quite heavy. This is definitely a piece that you'd want to show off once you have it. I would recommend this to anyone due to the quality. Definitely something that will add value to your collection in my opinion. I actually have another stone that looks just like it and at the moment I am unable to tell the difference between the two. I have taken a picture of it along with two others For comparison and size ratio.

It's an OK sphere. The Fluorescent Sodalite used though is not North American. It's from either China or Russia. You can tell by the orange flaking in natural light. However if someone is looking for an inexpensive example this can do the trick.
