Works great, as long as your PS2 is set up to use it first!
First and foremost, this is NOT a memory cardand cannot be configured to work as one. This is used in conjunction with a FreeMCBoot modded PS2 console to play your backed up ISO files via OpenLauncher. With that said, OPL must be the correct version to even support MX4SIO (stick with the newest version). The file structure of your SD card has to be properly organized for OPL as well.Games will run at full speed and run perfectly without slowdown or graphical glitches. Some games with full motion video may have choppy cutscenes, but this is not the fault of the MX4SIO, as the PS2 data transfer speeds are on par with USB 1.0.The build quality and plastic quality are excellent, feel on par with OEM memory cards, and the coloration of the plastic is vibrant and aesthetically pleasing. The SD card may be slightly tricky to insert because it is flush fitting when fully inserted, but will seat with an audible click and stay inserted without issue. When in operation, there are bright LED lights on the card, so if this bothers you, get a solid color option and cover with a piece of tape.Overall, this is an excellent option to play games without using your disc drive on a soft modded PS2, as long as you do your research ahead of time and prep your system accordingly. I would highly recommend this as an alternative to installing a hard drive on your PS2.

Won't go back to USB
Easy to set up and use. Once you get the OPL configured, you're ready to go. I was using a USB drive for a while on my slim PS2. The difference is night and day. In game videos no longer stutter or skip, games load faster and the compatibility issues I had with some games on USB work perfectly fine with this card. Amazing.

MX4SIO
This card does work however I have to use duct tape to hold the micro sd into position. It will not read the card unless I forcefully shove it down and tape it. It would be nice not to have to tape it because it looks a little ghetto, but hey it works. I used a samsung pro plus 128gb micro sd card inside and it works.

Works great if you know how to set it up on a ps2
This works as advertised if you know what you're doing on a ps2. It is not a memory card. This is to be used and configured with a softmodded ps2 and opl.

It worked for only a couple of days, and then stopped reading
PS2 disc lasers don't exactly have the greatest lifespans, and mine went out a few years ago. Say goodbye to booting off the slower USB 1.0 ports on your PS2 as well. This is very easy to use alongside FMCB, and games load faster than I expected. I did take it apart to reseat the internals to get the MicroSD card to click into place properly, but that wasn't an issue at all. Now I can revisit the games I loved as a kid on authentic hardware.Update 08/11/24: After a couple of days it stopped reading, and I couldn't get it to appear in OPL through FCMB. I spent hours troubleshooting it, and checked the soldier points on the MicroSD drive that's soldered onto the PCB and it should work? It ended up being a headache, so I set up game sharing to my PS2 over SMB from my Windows 10 partition. Setting up SMB is probably more worth your time than trying to troubleshoot this.
