Fantastic Mic
Great quality sound. Perfect size for on-the-go productions. Reasonable price. On top of that you get all mayor accesories like the wind screen, “dead cat”, shock mount, and cables (even a AAA battery is included to get you going).Besides the great sound, you get the gain knob to adjust sound level. Also, when you turn off the camera, the mic shots down automaticly. In the same way, when you power-up the camera, so does the mic.

8 Months Later….
I’ve had this microphone for under 8 months and it’s already giving me problems. It was working perfectly until a week ago and there has been no indication why it no longer works. I’ve taken good care of it and protect it but while shooting for a client, the microphone randomly shuts on and off giving me videos with no audio at all. If that’s not bad enough, when it does record audio now there is a high-pitched ringing sound that dominates all sounds. Terrible microphone to be randomly doing this after just 8 months of use. Others like this usually last me years.

Best mic for the money
Really well built, picks up audio from people even far away. Has a great built in db balancer for louder and quiet scenarios.

solid build
this thing has awesome sound level, maybe a bit to hot. I absolutely love using this mic, I think for a on camera mic it is a bit pricey, just like some of the others, i mean for $50 more you can get a good Sennheiser shotgun mic, its just not portable.

No regrets
Decent sound quality, flexible, and the external AAA battery is a much welcomed feature. As negatives: the inability to thread its base into a normal tripod, aside from the extremely short cables provided.

Good value
The media could not be loaded. Perfect for run and gun setups/interviews

Awesome Microphone
This boom microphone i use with my LUMIX. It picks up any noise and I'm using it for back noise as it's connected to my FZ300 and it's just fine.
