超高級カステラ
GTX1070Tiからの乗換えですRTX30シリーズのトリプルファンタイプはこいつ含めGTX10シリーズと比較すると大きさが1.5倍くらい有ります。当然入るか入らないかで言うとミドルタワーケースに入るのですが、このサイズをミドルタワーに入れるとエアフローの妨げとなるのを入れてみて実感しました。そしてこのRTX3080ですが、RTX3070と違う点としてGDDR6Xとなっており、これが爆熱なのとTDPが100Wくらい高い為電気代が普通に高くなります。実際負荷をかけている時で計測すると290Wくらいで動作している事が多いです。もし700W以下の電源でグラボ2枚刺す場合動作しない可能性があるので注意が必要。ゲームですが動作に問題はなく、並のゲームではファン回転が90%以上になる事もなく静かと言えるでしょう。ただし、80%以上で回す場合かなりうるさいです。そしてこのグラボ、爆熱の為部屋が凄い暑くなります。ほぼ暖房器具ですね。ケースから熱風がでています。エアコンを付けずに放置していると部屋が余裕で40度を超えます。購入してから今日まで常時エアコンとセット運用している為ますます電気代が掛かっています。さて、マイナス面を多く買いてしまいましたが世の中電気で動く物は高電力＝高性能＝爆熱 というのは何もおかしくありません。GDDR6Xは想像以上でしたが。動作時にグラボに触るともれなく火傷します。触らないように。個人的にはRTX30シリーズの熱に標準搭載のサーマルパッドが耐えきれずにオイルブリードが発生すると噂の為そこが気になっていますが今のところまだオイルが漏れてきたりはしてません。経過を見守ろうと思います。
