Great microphone for the price, better than the cheap wireless lapel options
If you're thinking of going for one of the cheaper ($50 and under) options, skip those and spend the extra money here. I've been really impressed by the sound quality of this microphone for the asking price. It has surprising depth and clarity and is leaps and bounds better than the built-in microphone or the mic on airpods.The mic comes paired with the receiver out of the box, so all you have to do is plug the receiver into your phone and power the mic on, and you're ready to go. Really happy with it overall.Some notes:- Can't get audio to play back out of the phone speaker while the receiver is connected, so it seems you have to disconnect the receiver to listen back to anything you record. Not a huge problem and probably more to do with Apple's specs on how audio devices work via lightning than the product itself- You can't use this to record audio while you have airpods connected; your phone will default to the microphone in the airpods and ignore this mic entirely

Took me a while to turn on but so easy to use once I got the hang of it....
The recording quality is fantastic. I'm a bit ashamed to say it took me awhile to figure it out because there were no clear instructions on how to get it going. So if you're having a hard time figuring it out, here's how to turn it on:Plug in the attachment to your phoneOn the side of the microphone, there's a button. Press it until the microphone light flash blue.Afterwards, start recording your video or audio.Once you're done, remove the phone attachment to playback the audio.Only the microphone needs to be charged.Hope this helps anyone who's trying to turn it on and having a hard time!

Best LAV on the market.
Sound quality beats the pants off all the other microphones in this category, I own MANY microphones, this one stands out as BEST sound quality for video and narration. Incredible. Shockingly good for the price point. The app that comes with it gives a lot of control over the sound quality. Noise reduction is VERY effective. 10/10 would recommend

It’s ok
Update: This little mic has really grown on me. For me, it’s so much better with the noise cancellation feature off. I get a much better sound. I gave an additional star.I feel like it made my voice sound a little nasally and I didn’t notice a huge difference between it and just projecting my voice out when recording.
