Draper 09544 Coolant Vacuum Refill Kit

Great quality product. It just works... Used this on my 350z to refill cooling system. Worked first time and no air trapped in system. Run up engine fans kicked in after 10 mins with heat coming out as expected. This product even though not used often saved me so much time and effort rather than trying to burp system and get stuck with airlocks. Will be using this on my other cars.

I used this for the first time at the weekend to replace the coolant on my car. I did have one problem - the compressor I was planning to use has a screw on attachment (for car tyres) which is no good with this which has a standard quick release fitting. Fortunately, a neighbour had a proper compressor.Apart from that, it worked perfectly. Proved my system held a vacuum (useful, since I was replacing a fairly inaccessible pipe), and as soon as you open the tap coolant flows straight in. My car has the engine at the back and the radiators at the front (and a bleed screw that is very hard to get to) - this saved an awful lot of time!

This is a good quality product and worked as expected. It's worth pointing out that the airline connector is 1/4" BSP female and comes with a PCL male connector to be screwed into it. So if you are running EURO rather than PCL connectors, you need to get your own EURO Male Connector with 1/4" BSP Male Thread.

Does the job, but arrives in bits and when you screw it together to be used it doesn't fit in the box afterwards. A competitor provides a must better box, maybe not important to some, but I like to keep all the bits together.

This is an excellent piece of kit. Gone are the days of trying to burp the cooling system or trying to find bleed ports in a system. Within minutes you'll have any potential air pockets filled back up with coolant. If you're considering this my advice is buy it, you won't be disappointed.

So happy with this item. Comes with loads of adapters. Easy to fit and use, and made a difficult job very easy to do. Very impressed with the quality

Worked nicely, just as described. Unfortunately comes with the wrong airline connector, so I had to steel one from from another tool. And I don't know how well some of the fittings would stand up on a professional shop, but for the home Gamer using it once/twice per year, should be just fine. Made the refill procedure on my 1999 BMW E31 M62 840Ci much easier, and far fewer air bubbles to bleed after the cooling system overhaul.

Saved me a fortune as my Porsche can only be filled with a vacuum tool. I bought a compressor and this tool for less than the local Porsche specialist were charging to vacuum fill the system.The quality is great and it worked flawlessly
