1 Metre x 2 Metre - Mirror Window Film - Mirror Effect Glass Film One Way

This a brilliant, cost effective way to get the 2-way mirror effect. The film is simple to cut to size, or can be bought pre-cut to your exact requirements. It is very simple to apply, with just a spray bottle and some soapy water.I have mine used on my office window. It takes a bit of time to get the lighting worked out correctly to ensure that the outside is brighter than my office. I had to change light fittings in my office and install a new picture light on the wall above the outside of my window. If someone came and stuck their nose right up to the window, they would see in. Otherwise, it is a perfect mirrored effect. I am very happy with this and cannot recommend enough. Everyone will have their own tweaking to do with lighting if it is for an internal space, but it really is work the work. I imagine it is a very straightforward job on an external window. Excellent effect!

Why not 5 stars? because for the price I would have expected some tool to come with it but it doesn't. So make sure you get yourself something (watch youtube videos see what they use) also the corners are not great sticking it on but that's down to my own in experience but was also down to trying to get the backing off which was very hard.4 stars for it doing a really excellent job. I am in a situation where neighbours have removed a lot of trees which now floods my bedroom with intolerable sunlight and it also means I have less privacy. With this product I have fantastic privacy and it does remove some of the sun light so now my painting on the wall opposite my window wont get damaged by constant sun when I am not home. I can get changed with my curtains open during the day and have no worries about nosey neighbours in their gardens. The finish looks silver but its actually just a reflective surface. All you can see when looking at it is the sky or clouds.

Okay. Fairly easy to put on with YouTube tutorial But not as mirrored as suggested in the picture and actually quite see through. Bought is for privacy and doesn't quite cut the mustard.

Not bad for a daytime but as have downstairs bedroom because of health issues it does Not stop anybody from seeing in my bedroom of a evening if the light is on, and this was one thing that I bought this forPrivacy !! So not over impressed 😢 Joy

I love this. I live in a ground floor apartment in central London. My bedroom window overlooks a busy street where everyone used to look in if I had my Venetian blinds even slightly open! And with computer etc in there - I've always had them closed or very slightly open. After a year I decided to try this stuff. It's a huge, tall bay window. I did the bottom half / lower windows.I was well rehearsed - I had done the YouTube research, knew to get in a spray bottle / baby shampoo and ensure I had a table nearby and a cutting knife / tape measure and bank cards ready (for squeezing all the wet out).I must say - the thought of starting it was daunting... I thought it would be a real hassle. Actually - I was organised, measured it roughly piece by piece and then attempted the smallest of the 3 lower windows... Then I never stopped. Easy peasy (if you've looked in to how best do it!).It's fantastic. Now I go to work with the blinds right up and the curtains wide open - bed / belongings / computer all on display in the middle of London. OK - if someone was brave enough to walk up in a busy street and start looking hands against the window - they would see in. And as you will have read the usual obvious comments - if it's night, don't have the lights on or, again, people will see straight in.I've tested and tested it. Now I get changed after work - people are completely oblivious (why yes. Feels weird).Now I can't stop cleaning the windows for being aware of my new-found clear view.Sunshiney bedroom all day long! Lush... It's like being in the camera run of Big Brother or something. (Yes. I do sit and stare at people walking past knowing they don't have a clue.)Now I've decided I will probably get round to doing the top half and some other full length windows at the back where we are overlooked whilst mooching round the kitchen.Very speedy delivery. Perfect size for the coverage I needed.*Update* - Now ordered second lot. It's quite addictive...

I was unsure about buying this mirror film but am glad I did, we are lucky that we get the sun around our house all day long but our bedroom gets really hot because by evening the sun is shining right through the window, I have having to close the curtains to block the sun out because they are blackouts​ and if I go in to get something I have to switch on the light, my husband put the film on the window, which is in three sections, by himself within half an hour no problem, we are amazed at the difference it's made, my husband asked me to go outside and see if I could see in, I could see faintly see him when he was standing about a foot from the window but as he stood further back I couldn't, in all we are very happy and would advise anyone looking to block the sun out to try it
