Incredibly sound for the money
I've tried many effects pedals and multifx over the years, and have gravitated back to an amp that gives me most of the sounds I want without needing outboard effects. In fact I couldn't be happier with the amp, the only omission was in not having tremolo so I went shopping for a decent tremelo pedal. Anyway I happened on the UT300 and saw some impressive reviews. Given it cost the grand total of £18 including delivery I took a punt on it. Others have mentioned how flimsy the case is, I'm used to metal cased pedals rather than plastic so that wasn't impressive though at least I was expecting it. Others have also mentioned how nasty the "design" of the battery cover is, basically you need to pop a ballpoint pen in the hinges for the foot pedal part of the unit to take the top off to expose the battery. This sort of worked the first time, but I can something getting broken xx number of battery changes down the line. However, once I plugged in and turned the unit on my concerns went away, it really has a fantastic sound. Little or no background noise, and some very convincing tremolo sounds. Sound wise I'd put it up there with more expensive units like Boss so for the cost it's hard to fault. Guess at the end of the day the decision as to whether this box is right for an individual or not is where it's likely to be used. I can't see the flimsy design and construction lasting long used as a stompable floor pedal, but kept out of the way of size 9 feet as may be the case for a bedroom/desk rig it's a steal. Personally I'd have paid the few quid extra that a proper metal case would have cost, but this thing sounds so good it feels mean criticising it !

Good value use at home pedal
Very good value , typical quality Behringer pedal, does a good job, sounds really good, guitar snobs don't like it because it has a plastic body, but for a home studio or a bedroom jam session... Why pay more?

Cheap good fun
I've a few pedals of this make. Sounds great. Light and durable. Great for any start up rig. Easy to use.

Does just what it is supposed to do
Like a lot of Behringer products, this unit sounds great, and performs well. It equals more expensive brands in terms of sound quality and controls. The only downside if you intend gigging with it, is that it is made of plastic. It is not flimsey and I use mine on a well protected pedalboard, but if you are going to through it around it may not last very long.

Too Choppy
I find that this Tremolo pedal does not provide a soft enough tremolo. It’s too choppy even with the mode pedal turned fully to triangular shape wave. It may appeal to those players with a more modern approach, but it doesn’t capture the 60’s style tremolo sound. At the price, it’s hardly worth returning. I prefer my Dan Electro Cool Cat Tremolo for its more authentic 60’s sound. I bought the Behringer in the hope it might sound similar but be a bit louder. However it isn’t really any louder. Recommend a second hand Dan Electro at a similar price.

Incredible value for your money!
At £19.99, this pedal offers amazing value.A perfect analog clone of the Boss TR-2. This little Beringer unit accurately replicates everything the Boss pedal does except it is a fraction of the price.I was in the market for a tremolo pedal and thought I had narrowed my choice down to two - the Boss TR-2 or the JHS Tidewater. This little box has easily made up my mind for me and potentially saved me in the region of £70-£110 by foregoing those more expensive options. It is very easy to see where the costs have been cut on the Beringer and at £19.99, you would expect to get what you pay for. Plastic casing, pots soldered directly to the circuit board, a distinct lack of nuts and screws and cheap labour all contribute to the overall cost reductions. However, this does feel like a reasonably solid little unit. I thought it felt reassuringly heavy when I took it out of the box. It sounds great and does exactly what it's supposed to.This was my first Beringer pedal, it won't be my last.

Works, but there’s a lot of buzz when you stop playing
Cheap. If u don’t mind buzz when not playing then this is a good fun box with nice tremolo effect . All plastic , so no good for a lasting piece of kit but great if u want to test out if a tremolo is your thing.
