The costume is very comfortable, light, soft, and nice. Medium size fits anyone who is around 5’5 and about 130lbs. Anyone heavier or taller may need a size large. The tail comes off because it is a velcro attachment. I secured it with a safety pin and problem fixed. I did not like the hat because It did not have a rim and the opening was kind of small. But I ordered a better hat for 20 bucks and used it with the costume. I also borrowed a white pair of gloves for the cat and painted some whiskers on his face. So I paid 50 for the costume, 20 for a nicer hat and the costume was a HIT! Everyone loved our Cat in the Hat!The hat that comes with the costume is usable, but not as nice as the other one I ordered. You can see the difference in the pictures I posted. The cat in the hat is wearing the nicer hat and the person with the long red tie is wearing the hat that comes with the costume. I hope this review helps you.

I ordered and adult small for my ten year old son so wear for Dr Seuss week. It is good suit and quality, it fit good except for the legs. We had to hem them up just a bit so they didn't drag all day but overall it worked very well and the kids will be able to wear it for all the years to come. I think it was a little pricey, I wish it would have come with the white gloves too but I ordered it on short notice and it arrived in time.

This was everything I wanted from this costume. It looked great, fit great and was very comfortable. My granddaughters loved it and it was a big hit at the birthday party!! I would highly recommend this costume to anyone looking to be "the cat in the hat".

I am 5'1" and size 10 and the costume had plenty of length and fit around me easily. (I got a small.) My only issue was the hat. It was made of felt and didn't have any sort of a rigid "rim" around the brim of the hat, so I couldn't keep the edges from sicking up. You can kind of see it in the picture of the man wearing it in the ad. I tried a couple of things to fix it and they didn't work, so it looked a little funky. I would either buy a better hat or put a rigid rim around it to keep the edges down. I purchased 2 costumes & both had this issue.

Great for Halloween. Good quality and fun!

I work in a pharmacy and we dress up each Halloween. This costume was well-made enough to look good and the price didn't break the bank. It was the first one I've kept over the last ten years we've done this due to it's being durable and easy to wear. My son also took it up to Ole Miss and wore it that weekend after for a Halloween costume party. Good value and not a "cheap" looking costume

The suit was a good fit. The hat was kinda small. It didn't come with white gloves.

I bought this for my 8 year old son (even though it was a man's size). When I ordered this, they didn't have any in my son's size so I decided to go bigger. I ordered it very close to Dr. Seuss day and it wasn't supposed to arrive until after but was pleasantly surprised that it came two days after I ordered it and it was here two days before Dr. Seuss Day!!! It was big on my son (which I expected) but I just taped the legs up. He looked so cute!!!! My youngest will be in kindergarten with my older two next year and my daughter will be in fifth grade and they have decided that she will use this costume next year and be the Cat In The Hat, my son will be Thing One, and my youngest daughter will be Thing two. Also, I think I may be The Cat In The Hat for Halloween or for our Summerween party this summer.We will definitely get our money's worth out of this!

The sizing was good. Big and loose enough to wear over clothing. The quality was acceptable for the price. The students at our school were so excited to see the Vice Principal as a Cat in the Hat.

It was very long and roomy. Like most Halloween costumes it is cheap overpriced fabric. Got the job done tho! Has a tie and a couple velcro pcs on the back.
