My cockatiel loves the heater. Only thing it is 110 volts, not made clear, so also had to buy a stepdown transformer as I am in the UK. Other than that all good.

I did force it through but i dont think ill ever be able to move it now as it was super tough to pull through. my birds do love it and snuggle up which i love!!

I assumed being sold on .co.uk it would come with a UK plug

This is a 110v device but UK plugs supply 230v (over double!). Using a simple travel adapter will risk melting of the components or even a fire as this does not alter the voltage. You need to buy a 110v / 230v step-down transformer. The cheapest one I could find online, with good reviews, is around £35.Many reviews show that people in the UK are using this in a way that could cause a fire. It's incredibly negligent for the seller to provide this to the UK without proper instructions of how to use it safely.DO NOT USE REGULAR TRAVEL ADAPTERS.

Product was working very well, cockatiel was pleased. Item stopped working after about 3 weeks, not sure of issue. Tried in different sockets and changed fuse in adapter, still no luck.

Lasted three months

Works well in both cages and our budgies and Conure snuggle by it every night. It's sturdy and safe and we're not concerned about it over heating. It provides steady warmth that's not super strong.

I bought this heater for my canaries. I received the product but I cannot connect it since it did not come with the plug. Who buys something like that without being able to connect it?

My African Grey does not like anything new, yet he had no crazy reaction to this "new thing" in his space. The first day after I installed it he was one perch away from it when I uncovered him which is a very positive response from this 33 yr old parrot. I gave him 3 differently positioned perches so he has control over how much warmth he wants to feel. He also is very destructive sometimes with "new things" and he has not tried to destroy the heater either. The unit itself took me 3 minutes to install and did not give off any odor whatsoever. Compact and durable. It was less expensive than the most popular brand as well. Highly recommend.

The heater does its work. Keeps the area around the perch on the side of the cage warm. We've had a few cool nights here in Florida and the heater has helped. I wish perhaps that it could get a bit more hot so that the heat would radiate a bit more spread out since the warmth would only be felt once the bird gets close enough to it. Overall it works. But you may need multiple ones to place around the cage, depending on size and amount of birds.Easy to install and it arrived quick.
