Duratool D00029 Electronics Tool Kit, 25 Piece

I find it amazing I'm In collage and i use it In my electronics and control systems lectures and it is a very useful kit and utilises the space very well

No missing parts¤ only a small layout change the soldering iron and solder remover have swapped places (most likely due to the UK plug being massive)¤ does not ship with the 2 AAA battery's needed for the multimeter but that's minor(it only loses a star because the lack of battery's was not stated.)

A good selection of the tools to enable and encourage particularly a youngster to make his/her move into assembling self-build electronic kits. Our grandson for whom this was purchased has made a good start in self-assembly using the soldering iron and other tools provided and has already several projects under his belt. Another James Dyson in the offing?

Waste of money really, comes as a big kit but the quality is pathetic if you ask me all tools feel cheap, soldering iron tip doesn't even get hot enough to melt 0.6 resin core 60/40.Other tools are just as bad if not worse.

After reading the positive reviews I was hopeful that this product would be of a fairly decent standard, given the cheap price tag. Sadly, some of the tools are of so poor quality that they are basically unusable.For example, the needle nose pliers do not meet at the ends so it wouldn't be possible to grab something small with them. The wire cutter on the needle nose pliers also doesn't cut through wire. The individual pair of wire cutters also doesn't cut through wire due to the two blades not even being close to meeting when you close them. I couldn't even cut through a very thin phone charger cable with them.The tweezers are unusable as when you pinch them together the metal just bends so you couldn't grab anything with any force. The extractor tweezers are also useless.The screwdrivers seem of okay quality.The multimeter turns on, which was a surprise. It seems to work okay, though it feels incredibly light and flimsy. Not sure how long it will last.The soldering iron I haven't had a chance to try out yet, though judging by the quality of the rest of the tools I'm not hopeful.I definitely wouldn't recommend this to anyone. In hindsight, I'd say you'd be much better off just buying a soldering iron and a multi meter separately and then getting yourself a fairly decent screwdriver set as the rest of the tools just seem like worthless filler to bulk out the number of accessories in the kit.Hope this review helps.

Excellent tool kit and we have bought this before and my husband bought another two for his colleagues, The case is an extra bonus to carry everything around with you.

not too bad a toolkit, but as others have said, tools not the best quality.After use, the zipper is playing up.It is a good idea if all the tools are together in one place, now I have to make them stay there!
