The black was very dark when not being used which is perfect and the image shows great with hot water. brilliant.For those wondering. yes you can see everything on show without the censored. But with this being a gift for the mother in law i thought it was perfect

Just recieved it. Brilliant gift, looks like a boring mug until hot water goes in, then surprise!!!!. picture is good quality to just like the pics. Very quick delivery.Going to be giggles Christmas day when gift is opened and hot drink made.

This is definitely not your every day mug, it's great for fun/a joke but it isn't really the best quality mug.The print is good but it doesn't fill the entire mug, it leaves a big white section around the handle, not a deal breaker as the mug still has the same impact but would have been nice if it had been finished a bit better. You can also slightly see the image before the heat change which spoils the surprise a little.Other than that, it does the job nicely. It has made everyone I've served tea to smile so far.

The media could not be loaded. Brought this mug as a joke gift for me boss at work. When opening box I could see the "hidden" image through the blackened layer.When testing it, it seems the image isn't fully wrapped around the cup and each side of the handle has a fairly big white patch where no image was printed there...The bottom of the mug is loads white lines and marks (where it's been rested on something and the blackout layer has been removed from scratchs ect,In all fairness it's not worth £9!!Not happy about it ild return if I could bit gave it to boss to cheer her up through rough time.....Ild say avoid!!

This cup is amazing just obviously not if the house has young children. A good secret Santa gift or a wind up. We give it to visitors if they ask for tea. Hopefully they won't take tea next time lolm

Mug seems decent quality.Fill with hot water and the 'interesting' image appears ;-) ...and then disappears again when the mug cools down.Note that the image doesn't wrap all the way around the mug, it stops either side of the handle (see pics).I would hand wash only. The product description doesn't make it clear if you can put in a dishwasher... but I suspect not.Good as a novelty present...

The mug itself has a nice weight to it. Would fit an average sized cuppa. The design appears quite quickly once you add any hot liquid, & it's definitely uncensored lol, this would make a great joke gift as a little surprise for somebody. I've shown it to a few of my friends & they think it's hilarious, although a few have said they'd think twice about drinking out of it.
