Great alternative to micro SD
I bought this as I have arthritis in my habds so struggle to insert micro SD into my 3D printer. This plugs into micro SD slot on printer and then allows full size SD card to be used which is easier as my laptop has SD slot so no messing around with adapters. There are plenty of designs on Thingiverse to create housing for these type of adaptors.

Reader side of it is very solid good quality. The ribbon cable is good
Reader side of it is very solid good quality. The ribbon cable is good. The micro sd side feels a bit fragile where the cable connect to it. Be careful when using it.Perfect for my application. However I do not advise to keep removig and reinserting the micro sd side. It will brake soon.Reader side is excellent no issues with removing and reinserting cards.

Works for my ender 3 v2 with Jyers fw
Fitted this to my ender 3 V2 to save wear on the micro SD slot. Running Jyers FW. The only quirk is that when you remove the SD card from the extender the printer thinks it is still there so displays the ‘sd init fault’.Simply put as the machine thinks the micro sd card is in place it acts as if it can’t read the card. When you place the SD card in the extender again you won’t get confirmation of this. But when you go ‘print’ your files on the card will show up.I will get another for my second 3 V2 based on the above.YMMV

Worked fine for 5 minutes
Always go straight to the 1 star reviews and ignore them at your peril! Why do I keep doing this?Yeah, it’s rubbish. Flaky at best, sometimes having to switch my 3d printer off and on to get it to even recognise the card. Removed it and used the micro SD slot as usual, and guess what - it works perfectly.I really don’t know how they manage to make it so bad - it’s just an SD card reader with an extension cable, but they managed! Also, you have to write to the actually faceless company in China for a refund, Amazon won’t get involved. Hoping that will work out…Please don’t bother, it’s really not worth it. Plus ALL the other ones you see are basically the same generic product, so also not worth bothering with.

P&P, no drivers required, all good
Wanted a SD card share between my Anycubic and Ender but the Ender only had a mini so this card extender came to mind: P&P, no I only need 1 card for both 3D printers

I got to product to test a SDIO device on ...
I got to product to test a SDIO device on top of microSD slot, the cable length seems to create lot of noice for this setup to work. It does not work as it is.One more thing is the MicroSD side of this cable is very much thicker than regular MicroSD card itself, so you might have trouble in getting the MicroSD card latch working.I could not even detect a normal SD card with this connetor, I have to chop the length of the cable and resolder it to get it working!!

Great value and works well
I bought this to use with a Monoprice Select Mini v2 which I find really awkward to get the mini sd card in and out of when 3D printing. It instantly worked and has changed the ease with which I can copy files to my printer dramatically. So far a fantastic investment!

Works well on 3D printers
I bought this to load full size SD cards on the 3D printers, I really dont know why printer manufacturers insist on using micro SD slots, USB would be much better.
